Teacher arrested for molesting 2 women at department store

YOKOHAMA -- A high school teacher accused of groping two women as he passed them in a department store here has been arrested, police said.

Investigators accuse Kono of groping the lower bodies of a 35-year-old housewife and a 21-year-old woman as he passed them in the food sales section of Takashimaya

The women screamed and Kono ran away, but customers in the store stopped him. Investigators said Kono was drinking at the time. When questioned by police he reportedly denied having molested the women, saying, "I only bumped into them."
