Helicopters keep eye on children

The Yomiuri Shimbun

Police in Saitama Prefecture are strengthening airborne patrols to ensure the safety of children in an effort to combat an increase in crimes targeting minors.

In one sky patrol that worked in cooperation with police officers on the ground, the police spotted a man who was approaching primary school girls.

Besides trying to protect children, the team cooperates closely with investigators on the ground in investigating violent crimes and other incidents, including hit-and-run cases.

In December, the Saitama prefectural police began intensive patrols around schools in response to the increase in crimes against minors.

Because of these crimes, the "flying squad" started enhanced operations in the southern parts of the prefecture, mainly over Niiza, during the hours when students leave schools for home.

According to the prefectural police, the squad has helped police on the ground in the arrest of two other suspects.

Japan is scary place to live in. stalking children, killing kids, groping girls on trains, firemen partying, family stabbign each other, mass suicides, bad economy, white worshipping, anal drug delivery, racism to foreigners, currupted teachers and police perverts, perverts on helicopters viewing little girls with nightvision and binoculars ect ect... but I don't really hate the Japanese, but they are weird and should be avoided unless proven otherwise.

People are posting more news from Japan, which might lead you to believe that the crime rates are booming. Major crimes are low in Japan, and it is regarded as one of the safest places to live. You can walk in any Tokyo street well after midnight without having to worry about getting shot and mugged.
Weird crimes are what people post. There are tons of weird crimes happing all over the world just this second. We just don't hear about them.
skat3r
The Japanese crime rate is the lowest in all of the industrial nations but over the last few years their have been several sick crimes against children.

I think the problem is the govt doesn't give a $hit about mental health
