i was talking to my friend on the phone about the pancakes i was going to make. she told me that perhaps the peaches wouldn't go to well with the pancakes, and that i would need ice cream and some maple syrup. i lied and told her that i have had made pancakes with peaches on them and they taste really good. i have never tried pancakes with peaches before.

Yeah, this was the first time that ALL my roommates and I went to campus together. We all are used to using different paths and so it felt like a democratic country; everytime 'our country' reach a point where there are many paths to choose from, 'all its citizens' would look at each other and make an decision about which path to choose. That wasn't really funny, but the fact that we didn't really know each other that well made something so unimportant a big deal. It was really funny when my one of my roommates later decided that she would be the queen...

4. I just watched Memoirs of a Geisha, but I wouldnt call it Movie of the Day. Sure its beautiful cinematographically, but somehow lost it. And the casts UGH! I know that Zhiyi & Yeoh have big names to generate box office but their acting suck ocean drain. Zhiyi couldn't bring out the inner soul of Sayuri- the rather naive one track minded geisha. I can still see her true 'b!tchy chinese celeb' in her. Coba belajar akting lagi ya mbak, 3d stupid Kong aja bisa bikin aku nangis masa kamu gak berasa datar aja. As for Yeoh aduh deh, itu mimic ama gesture terlalu frank & modern untuk seorang mama geisha era itu. She should be subtle, unread. Gak bangget deh dua bintang film ini. Tapi 2 thumbs up untuk Gong Li. Hebat-hebat! Stunning abis, terus gila aktingya dong. Liat cara dia natap aja udah kerasa tuh jiwanya. Kalo gak ada Gong Li nih film gak idup.

memoirs of a geisha- i absolutely LOVED it! i haven't read the book yet, so i can't compare. everyone i know has said that the book is alot better than the movie, so i am definately investing in the book. the actress who played suyuri can't speak a word in english, and for that i think she did a brillant job.
