Full Version: What do you guys think of Michelle Malkin?

I've heard a lot of negative press about her from the left wing in the US, but apparently the right wing extremists love her. Personally, if I ddnt know better I would consider her as a typical white right wing extremist, but she's actually a filipina whose married to a white guy and i find her views really disturbing. What do you guys think of her? Like her or hate her?
TakTAk-Boy
i'm kinda apathetic towards her right now...i dont agree with her but then i don't really hate her...but her views isn't really suprising since she's married to a right-wing Jewish guy...i saw her get interviewed in fox news and her views are pretty much in line with the jewish right-wing agenda...probably the reason i don't hate her is because she doesn't go around telling people that she's filipino..which is great for the filipino community. biggthumpup.gif
MrBahaw
wow I just looked up a picture of her and I have seen her before on tv but I didn't know she was ethnically filipino. I thought she was a fugly black woman. and besides foxnews suxxxxx thumbsdown.gif
mrkapawutzis
I don't agree with her politics, but she is articulate enough to hang with the best political pundits out there and it's pretty impressive to hear her debating a subject.
EMERALDRAGON7
She's just another pawn in the ever increasing sewer of partisan politics in the USA. Totally useless to the Filipinos as a whole. Tom Leikis the shock jock of LA can kick her @$$ on air anytime.

Wow, a Filipino "stereotyping" blacks! Not surprized since you've been colonized to believe that "white is right!" However, Ms. Malkin's commentary stinks as does your stereotypical mentality regarding blacks, who are in fact the race of people that built the greatest country ever to exist, and that so many Filipinos are beating down the doors to get to. Fugly black? But I guess a Filipina woman or man with a flat nose is attractive to you? Just being facetious! See how quickly your negative stereotype can be thrown back at you? Ms. Malkin is definitely ugly compared to Beyonce, Halle Berry, Jada, Janet Jackson and many other beautiful African Americans. As a matter of fact, I've seen NO Filipinas that look as good as African American women, and I've been to over 50 countries. We not only built America, but we protect it as disproportionately percentaged members of the U.S. Armed Forces. I know that you don't like black, who are the best lovers, athletes, singers and other successes that you wish you were good at. Again, you've been trained to think "white is right" that's why Filipinos are the #1 consumers of skin-whitening products in the world! Unlike Filipinos, you couldn't pay me a trillion dollars to be white! I love being black! I'd rather die than be anything else. Sorry that Filipinos have lost their sense of pride, and thus insert other country's traditions and cultures in lieu of your own. Filipinos are people of color, just like us African Americans are, however; the difference between you and I is that "I embrace my color, while you attempt to eradicate your's via either washing your skin tone away with some magical soap, or by your women attempting to birth the ethnicity out of your offspring by getting impregnated by caucasian western men, so that the skin is now whiter, and they have a SHARP pointed nose". You hate you very own race so much that you'd do this. Not me! I'm proud to be a big, strong, black man. But not as half as proud as my beautiful FILIPINA fiance (the only Filipina that I find attractive, and the only one that I know of that finds all caucasian men fugly)! She says that nothing compares to me! Not a Filipino and especially not some white guy that she says are definitely not GUAPO! Good luck in the quest of your people to find themselves and finally find some PRIDE. From the likes of the posts I've read here, that's gonna be a very very long journey! icon_confused.gif

This is a response I sent to Michelle Malkin regarding her position on reparations. I never agreed that any reparations were in order, however; she tried to compare the contributions of Filipinos to America to that of African Americans, the very race of people that were forced to build America! While I have nothing against Filipinos (other than the backwards "white is right" ideology instilled in your minds and culture), I took great offense to her ascertion that Filipino contributions equaled ours.
********************************************************************

I really take offense to the ascertion from your article that you think Filipinas have done more for America than African Americans and thus deserve some type of reparations, or are contesting the validity of suggested reparations for African Americans. Lets start from the beginning:

Few can imagine the atrocity that Africans endured on the slave ships. The filth, the stench, the loss of life, the disease, the packing of men in spaces so tight they could neither turn, nor stand, nor squat, nor sit is beyond human comprehension. For fifty days or more at a time, per voyage, our ancestors were tortured. Tight packers herded as many Africans aboard as possible, arguing that net receipts from sales of slaves would off-set the number that died. Loose packers preferred to give their captives "breathing room", trusting that more would survive the journey under sanitary conditions. So great was the profit from the sale of the enslaved that most European captains filled their vessels to the top, adding a second platform, if necessary, barely twenty inches above the heads of those below, to accommodate more. Crammed in suffocating heat, held fast by chains bolted to the floor, forced to lie in their own waste, breathing air rancid with vomit, disease, and sickness. There amid huge rats that gnawed through wood and flesh, men went mad. There on floors covered with blood and excrement, pregnant women gave birth. There the living awoke, chained to the dead. The daily routine brought little relief. Mashed horse beans pounded to a pulp and served with slabber sauce, a mixture of flour, palm oil, and water twice a day. Next came the dancing of the slaves, a cruel form of exercise and amusement conducted by slave captains to keep their human captives in salable condition. After a few hours, they were again forced back into the hell below. It was this journey that brought millions of us to America, the West Indies, South America, and countries of Europe. 50 to 200 million have been estimated as dying in transport alone. But, remember the analogy "Survival of the Fittest". What our white ancestors unintentionally initiated was selective segregation of the strongest males and females ever to come out of Africa. No other race ever on Earth has survived the atrocities we did. Not the Jews, no one. And you think the simple cheap labor that the Filipinos edured compares to a "holocaust"?

When we finally did arrive in America, they put tar on our wounds and oiled us down to make us pretty and shiny so that we netted max dollar at slave auctions. Did I mention they also divided families up and sold them to whoever? Now we've been sold and are now on the plantations. They strapped a plow on us and worked us like ox or cattle or horses. Unintentionally, they made us as strong as ox by working us like ox and feeding us the unwanted parts of pig, horses, etc... And unfortunately, many died from the fatal work-ethic forced upon us.

And you argue that some of our OWN KIND sold us?! Well, I'm sure they made the difficult self-preservation motivated decision to "Sell or be sold!" So don't try to place the blame on us! That infuriates me! Place the blame on the men that desired the sometimes fatal work-ethic of the African slaves. The ones that travelled to Africa, stole and then sold slaves, thus creating the slave trade market! Without them, no "slave trade" would have even occurred!

They tried to force their labor upon my Native American ancestry, but it proved way to hard and fatal. The same resulted when they tried to force the same upon the indentured servants. The African Amercians were the only race of peole that could survive the super-human sometimes-fatal work ethic they were seeking.

How dare you live in the country who's foundation (the textiles that my ancestor slaves produced...the cotton, the crops, etc...) was built by African Americans and dispute the justification of reparations for a race that you're not part of, thus could not ever understand. It's MY ancestors that are turning over in their graves! My Native American ancestors were chased from their tribal grounds! Their nomadic way of life was taken from them! They were forced to live on plantations. But even they weren't murdered or raped by the millions, and they DID receive reparations. If they received reparations for a lessor atrocity, then why not allow reparations for a race that was done even worse?

What have the Filipinos done for America. Did they stand with us during the battle for Civil Rights, giving their lives such as Martin Luthor King and many others did? I don't think so. But you think that you've done more for America than the African American? The U.S. Armed Forces are disproportionately African American. Please list the significant contributions provided by the Filipinos? When you see a African American in the U.S., please know that unlike the Filipinos, and other non-blacks, the African American race was created about 400 years ago right here by our white ancestors. We've been here in huge numbers from the get-go, only proceeded by the Native Americans. And a huge number of African Americans mated with the Native Americans, so their blood runs in a large number of us also, as does the blood of our white ancestors because they raped our slave ancestors. Whenever you see an Asian, such as a Filipino, either they are married to a G.I. or their family came here a few years ago! When you see an African American, know that they have been here since the 1600s.

And the "Chinese" were the race of people that did so much work on the railroads, ALONG WITH THE AFRICAN AMERICANS!!!!

I didn't see the KKK hanging any Filipinos! How dare you!!!

"Conquistadors" occupied the P.I.? Did the Conquistadors take millions of you from the P.I. to Spain, killing millions in the process? Did they take your heritage away from you? Your language? Your families?
Where do you come into play in America? 19th-20th cetury era...off of a cargo ship???

That cake has already been baked, and we baked it! You can put a candle on it if you like, however, that cake is and has been done well before you even heard the name America...
Watch "ROOTS!" That's the "G" rated version of what I've explained to you.
So you can spit out all of that biased unfounded self-serving scientific jargon you like, however facts are facts! icon_wink.gif
Look at the Colin Powells and Condoleeza Rices and tell me what Filipinos have contributed to this country like the African American has. Please take your unfounded BS and leave America until you realize that the African American contributions to making this country great cannot be surpassed or even minutely compared, much less mentioned by the Filipinos... Salamat...

I'll admit, I have seen some very very beautiful Filipinas... Maybe I'm taking my anger of Michelle Malkin out on her people... Maybe I'm also still upset about the commercial I saw with the brown baby in it where all of the surrounding Filipinas are smiling because their skin was lighter than the baby's... It just seems to me that Filipinas want to look white. Some even desire big breasts (implants). Why have big breasts when you have no hips/thighs/behind... It's like they desire to have ice cream cone shapes... Heavy up top and nothing down low... Maybe men in the P.I. like that kind of shape, but in America, we think that's unattractive. Again, I think is has to do with the "white is right" ideology that has been indoctrinated in you. In America, white guys like girls that have big breasts. African American men like women that have "coke bottle" figures. When women with huge breasts and no arse get old, they really look like crap, and their breasts hang down to their knees. Asian women do not have the same curvy shapes that Latino and Black women have. Asian women are slimmer. Black and Latino women have "athletic" physiques. Sometimes I think Asian women want huge breasts simply because white/caucasian western men like that. As if their only goal in life is to marry a white westerner.
When I was on Okinawa, I saw this 20 year old Filipina with a white man that had to be every bit of 70! She refused to walk with him, but instead walked to his rear as if she was ashamed to be with him. I'm just confused as to some of the things that Filipinas do, and how they think. I don't want to make any enemies here, I just wanna learn. My fiance teaches me a lot, but she cannot teach me everything, plus, she adores black, so she cannot help me with understanding the "white is right" mentality of the majority of Filipinas. And I used to work Town Patrol in Korea, so I interacted with Filipinas everyday, and they taught me a few things. My buddy's wife is Filipina, and she told us that some Filipinas don't like their noses and their skin color, so they try to marry white men from America so that their children will have pointed noses and pale skin. I found it wierd that some Filipinas were ashamed of who they were, so much to the point that they desire to birth the ethnicity out of their off-spring... In America, everyone likes tanned/brown skin... I guess I have a lot to learn about Filipino culture and ideology...

Please, Beyonce's parents are African American. How else could she be so tall and curvy, and beautiful? Halle Berry is 'Part" white, and anyone will tell you (outside the Philippines) that black mixed with anything makes the most beautiful offspring on this planet. I don't know if there is even such thing as pure black in America. Most of us have the blood of our white ancestors in us. While Asian woman have decent looking faces, the majority that I've seen have no figures. And when Filipinas get older, a lot of them lose what little shape they had. As far as most beautiful, all I've seen in Asian women is a lot of time putting on make-up and trying to alter their skin tone. A lot of Filipinas desire big boob, but have no "@$$" or hips to compliment a proportionate figure. They think men like big boobs, so having an ice-cream cone shaped body is alright for them I guess. But when you age, that already disproportionate "ice-cream cone" shaped figure is futher devastated.
As far as comparing a race of women that are pretty, against a race of women that are extremely athletic, shapely and beautiful, there's no comparison. I'll take the naturally beautiful, strong, athletic black race of women over the less beautiful and shapely Asian race. However; my Filipina fiance just happens to have a body like a black woman. Small upper-body, but ridiculously curvy/sexy lower body with a very very nicely shaped @$$. And while I'll not lie and say it's all about the personality, I'll tell you the very first thing I saw on her was her rear end (because I was approaching her from behind). When I saw her body (dressed in nice fitting black slacks), I couldn't believe an Asian woman could have such a veluptious physique. I assumed that her face was gonna be jacked-up because all the Filipinas I saw had either/or, not both a tight body and a beautiful face. Most of them had false teeth or teeth missing. And they covered up theor faces with TONS of make-up, plus they dyed their hair. When she turned around, I was convinced that there really was a God and gave up my refusal to consider marrying Asian women. The rest is history.
A woman with a heavily-made-up face and not much of a body might be considered attractive in the Philippines, but not in America. Even the white guys in America today prefer nicely shaped rear-ends.

Halle Berry, Angela Bassett, Sanaa Lathan, Tonea Stewart, Nicole Ari Parker, CCH Pounder, Loretta Devine, Kent King, Maya Rudolph, Marsha Thomason, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Kasi Lemmons, Eartha Kitt, Anna Deavere Smith, Ruby Dee, Angelle Brooks, Mari Morrow, Donzaleigh Abernathy, Irma P. Hall, S. Epatha Merkerson, Diana Ross, Thandie Newton, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Vanessa L. Williams, Charlayne Woodard, Meagan Good, Aisha Tyler, Tamara Tunie, Adilah Barnes and Kellita Smith to Nona Gaye, Tatyana Ali, Gabrielle Union, Regina Hall, Tina Andrews, Naomie Harris, Joy Bryant, Phylicia Rashad, Jada Pinkett Smith, Rashida Jones, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Robinne Lee, Queen Latifah, Kerry Washington, Beyonce Knowles, Diahann Carroll, Nia Long, Tyra Banks, Vivica A. Fox, Vonetta McGee, Penny Johnson Jerald, Zoe Saldana, Samaria Graham, Tonya Lee Williams, Tangi Miller, Michelle Hurd, Holly Robinson Peete, Eve, Rosario Dawson, Jurnee Smollett, Alexia Robinson, Regina King and Audra McDonald to name a few are beautiful black atresses that are really beautiful and really ACTRESSES. Not like in the Philippines where ANYONE can be an actress/actor. And while the majority of these women are black, some of them are mixed. And like I said, mix ANYTHING with black and you have pure beauty and strength. Naturally, without the aid of tons of make-up, plastic surgery, implants or photo touch-ups.

I won't even challenge you to your assertion that you could name 1,000 Pinays that look as good as Halle and Beyonce and these women, simply because they don't exist. Except in the Philippines where it's been indoctrinated into the minds of the most confused race of people I've ever met that "White is right!" Look around you. The world no longer believes that crap, except in the Philippines, who's behind the rest of the world anyway. A country that would rather place an actor to lead it's nation than a qualified leader. A country that is the world's #1 consumer of skin-whitening products. A country that has the most corrupt government in the world. A country the emulates everything about it's idol, the U.S. and is looked upon as a mere wanna be. A country of Asians that think they're white. Yes, the Philippines is the only place in this world where they believe that their "culturally cosmetic wanna-be celebrities" can compare to the Halle Berry's and Beyonce's of the world. Michell Malkin is Filipina & white. Compare her to this Black & Asian goddess... http://tomikaskanes.com/
No competition! And as the world is becoming more interacially mixed, I see many many more Afro-Asians
taking the world by storm. Check out these, and you'll see that they're far more beautiful than your so-called Filipina "entertainers".

the whole premise of your posts is that the black race is superior too all and yet it takes outside forces to make them the best at anything. Mixing with whites or asians for example. Beyonce and Hally Berry actually disprove your theory, it takes mixing with other races to make you all look have decent if that.

Colin Powel and Condeleza Rice are also good examples of blacks with white blood who made it. Stop taking credit for partial breeds because partial breeds only serve to disprove the very fibers of your black-nazi exsistance. We've had Malay Nazis(dalawapo and maybe Iron Malayan), Chinazi(ejay).. and now we've got a black-nazi on these boards Talktohand.gif

Negative... My premise was to discount the poster's insinuation that a race of women that are cosmetically-challenged are as beautiful as the African American women I've identified earlier. Additionally, caveated with the comparison of Blacks mixed with Asian, as the website I've provided you with will show the artists around the world, but mostly in America that were born with black in them. Amerie, Tyson Beckford and a multitude of others, that when you go to this website and look at them, you'll see that they are quite the impressive humans in both talent and looks. And they embrace and accentuate their blackness versus trying to be someone they are not. Discounting the mentality of a nation of people indoctrinated to believe that "white is right", an old fallacy that is becoming increasingly exposed and obsolete. Look at the world. No, better yet LOOK AT THE U.S! Have you ever heard of the "Browning of America?" You need to read it! Yes, the world is made up of a majority of people of color, while Filipinos desire to scrub the ethnicity from their epidermises. The style that has finally rightfully positioned itself (diversity) is instead being snubbed by an entire nation of people. Like the guy that finally bought that Nakamichi Dragon cassette deck, when we've been using external hardrives for ages now. Like showing up to the party with the wrong gear on.

Black-Nazi? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I prefer "Proud African American Warrior!" And when I have my little Afro-Asian kids, I'm gonna ensure their Filipina mother and her relatives teach them their Pinoy roots, however, you'd better believe that they will know that they are of African decent and thus are Black. And just as I introduced my fiance to "ROOTS, Rosewood & Panthers", so too will they be taught the incredible journey that my people took that enabled them to build the greatest country ever to exist. And for that reason, they'll stand proud and understand that it's a priviledge to be Black!

Lastly, Colin Powell was born from Jamaican parents, he's black. And as Condi Rice stated, "I've been black all my life. Nobody needs to tell me how to be black." But anytime a black person reaches immortality, all of the sudden the prevelant indicator is because they're "part" something else. Yes, African Americans period are "part" something else, however; the only difference between us and Filipinos is that we were forced to have our blood mixed and our culture erased, and we still strive to remain true to our ethnicity and re-learn our true discarded historic culture, while Filipinos would rather "repel" their ethnicity and substitute "white American" culture for their very own. Except for my fiance, who thinks that being with a big strong "guapo" black man is a priviledge. A perception that I gladly re-enforce and validate every opportunity that I can.... cool30.gif icon_confused.gif

Have you ever heard of the "Browning of America?" You need to read it! yo buddy!, who cares if filipinos try to act white. theres nothing wrong by doing so!! cant we?? that doesnt mean we are killing our unique filipino culture if we try to act one. we are proud that we have brown skin, and that we have flat noses. yes i must admit that it is true that some pinoys are acting like that, and i dont find it offensive, i dont mind and who cares. but it seems that ur not thinking 3D, and it seems that u are targeting almost all filipinos about them acting more whiter than they are supposed to. HELLO!!! there are also filipinos who are proud to be brown!! and there are also a percentage of blacks who wanna be white, so think about some of ur ppl who also have some of the problems some filipinos have. and dont always target filipinos, bcuz we are not perfect!!! geez i am sick of u tryin to compare filipinos to blacks, and by doing so, u make filipinos look bad and make blacks sound more supperrior and perfect than our ppl!!! it might not be ur intention, but it sounds very offensive to those who are proud patriotic filipinos.

And as Condi Rice stated, "I've been black all my life. Nobody needs to tell me how to be black." And as Filipinos stated, "We've been filipinos all our lives, and we are free to act according to our wishes. Nobody like WILL NOMAD needs to tell us how to be filipino."

by posting statements about filipinos being white, shows that u are trying to tell filipinos how they should act to be filipinos. you are black and should express ur issues to black ppl. u have no right to tell us what we should be. u have black rights, so use ur own authority to black ppl. we have our own rights and we use our own authority to our own ppl according to our judgement. if u do not like how we act, its better to just keep it to urself and not let us know, bcuz it is not always a positive outcome when u post ur comments. soooo plz just post statements that makes everyone happy rather than sound like ur ppl is better than ours!!

i kno u have freedom of speech, but sometimes it flames ppl up and causes alot of tension. so if u dont want any problem wit both our communities, then i recommend u to stop. it is better to compare our similarities rather than compare our difference. i know im prbbly going off topic, but i just want everyone to have a great time in these forums and i believe that we should all equally enjoy the great benefits that these foums have to offer.

That's what you don't understand... We're both people of color... What I'm saying as a fellow person of color, is for Filipinas to embrace their diversity/color, versus trying to wash it away.... You don't need to like me, as I'm not entering any type of popularity contest. Just listen to what I have to say, and express yourself. I have no problem with that.. I actually like a lot of what you said... However, I don't think your Filipino pride is as evident as it should be with the rest of your nation...

Check out these, and you'll see that they're far more beautiful than your so-called Filipina "entertainers".

lol, dude, have u seen some of ur women? no offence u mention those so called celebrities, as proof about how hot black women are. I bet half of them have had plastic surgery and please, dont even go on about not wearing too much makeup. We all know women from the US, like those hollywood types are NOTORIOUS for wearing tons of makeup. lol, filos barely do, dey dont like it. And so wat if dey do? Does it even look bad on dem? not at all, and den u have the nerve to say we're fake and dye our hair? lol, um...excuse me but Beyonce aint a NATURAL BLONDE lol. And have u seen what she looks like WITHOUT MAKEUP? haha, ur such a fu-king joke! U say filos are ugly? lol, sure dude, have u seen ur women lately? You mention the celebrities, only half of which are goodlooking, and u reckon they represent ALL THE BLACK WOMEN IN AMERICA? LOL, u wanna see a typical black american chick? A Distorted Reflection: African-Americans and Beauty Products

Even when African-American companies marketed products to their own community, these early products emphasized changing one's appearance to match the accepted Caucasian norm. Straight hair was valued over kinky, and whiter skin was more prized than the varied hues that comprise the African-American race.

Advertisements for bleaching creams and hair straighteners filled the pages of African-American magazines. Opinions about hair and complexion are still " hot-button issues" for many African Americans. Movies, books, and even lawsuits have been praised, reviled and fought as African-Americans explored the options available to express their cultural heritage. More frequently than in the past, American media has made attempts to represent the wide spectrum of African-American, African and Afro-Caribbean life. Hopefully, current consumers feel at little less pressure to conform and find more freedom to experiment.

btw, since u reckon filos are sooo ugly, isn't it rather hypocritical and ironic that ur fiancee is a filipina? embarassedlaugh.gif obviously u seem to prefer the filo look more than the african one biggthumpup.gif

filipinas DO embrace their colour, and even a larger percentage of them do, compare to the small percentage of women ur describing. the way u describe it sounds as if u are tryin to blame the whole nation for doing so. so if ur goin to describe something then make it specific and not blame the whole nation for it. i am a proud filipino, i am happy of who i am, and i do not complain that i am. all im saying is that we just compare our similarities rather than our difference.

the way u say it is that FILIPINAS are acting whiter than they are supposed to

correction, this is what u should say:

SOME SMALL PERCENTAGE OF FILIPINAS are acting whiter than they are supposed to.

again im proud to be PINOY!!!, it just sound like im not bcuz i am defending my argument. i try to be careful that i might not offend ppl, so i look at both sides and think what they might think if i say somethin offensive. i am proud bcuz i am here trying to defend my nation against many of ur false accusations to many filipinos. filipinos get hurt of what u say, including me, bcuz i am a proud filipino and i get mad when many false accusations are being targeted to our ppl!!! how would u feel if many ppl accuse ur race of false accusations?? it might not be personal to u, but it may be for some, just like some being offended of what u say.

if i am not proud just like what u said, then i wouldnt be here to argue with u, and i wouldve taken an advice from someone who is not even filipino, thus submitting myself to some foreigner who thinks that he knows more than filipinos. luckily i am not, and will never be doing so!!!...bcuz i am proud!!!.......BCUZ I AM A PROUD PINOY!!!

He talks $hit bout filos yet is marrying a filipina himself, i bet she's juz marrying him for his money coz i think she's a japayuki embarassedlaugh.gif . And btw, filos acting white? If a person grew up overseas and has no contact with other filos at all, then it's not their fault if they act more western. I don't consider myself pinoy na pinoy in my ways, there are some stuff that i dont still get in filo culture, coz i ddnt really grow up in phils. Dat doesnt mean i act white, im juz not as immersed in filo culture since i grew up in a western background.
