The major ThaiPeople would love to cook foods adding too much spicy. Some foods are very very hot. I couldn't even taste a bite of it!! But ThaiFoods are more quality and great smell...When we smell them to make us feeling are hungry right away!! So??? I just have a little concern on ThaiFoods!!

* How come would you all(Thais) like to serve the HotFoods??

the only way you can really overcome the spice is if you've gotten used to the spicy taste. People in thailand start eating spices at a very young age so the spice is not a big deal at all. 'Course, if you decide to cook or order thai food just request less spice. Lao food are similar to thais and are just as hot. And I, myself is used to the spices. Sometimes I don't even realize it's spicy cuz i'm so used to it. But som tum always give me a hard time ehehe...My taste buds are gonna die soon.

I know the spicy Foods are making us feeling to eat more and more!! The taste is so Yammy and very great!! But our stomatch are very hard to digest...any times when i push the air out, i feel hot in my bud...But I couldn't stop to eat it!! Thats a problem!!

But some one of doctors said about the people who eat too much spicy foods. Later on, if those people become a sick, Its very hard for treatment the decease...
for me, i really don't know is true or feak!!!!

Yes, actually that is somewhat true. Eating too much spicy food can cause some health problems. I think for your blood system and digestive system; I'm sure there are other complications as well - maybe someone else can help me clarify. It can also stop your taste buds from functioning - meaning that you won't be able to taste foods. My mom got high blood pressure from eating too much spicy foods. I may need to back down and eat them occasionally..

Its a balance of hot,sour, salty and sweet..

There are some ThaiFoods so similar the KhmerFoods, but the only ThaiFoods are add too much spicies and so hottttttttttttt Any times, i eat the ThaiFood is making a lot of activities and fighting too much in my stomach!!!!!!!!!! Because of the Hot stuffs and spicy staying the wrong place! Hehehehehe.... . But i can tell you all that the HotFoods are help the people retain eating is just don't want to stop!!

Mouk Houng then, we Khmers call it Bokla Houng. the speaking is so so similar!!!

Any way, i know one Thai Restaurant in my home town area, any times that i went there, i felt to rethink about the sovournia since i was stay in Thai with my adoptive ThaiMom. I couldn't eat much in the Thai Restaurant, but i ate better if in another Restaurant...Any thing that was stuck in my mind seemed to me hardly forgetting it...I would like to prefer a Tum-Yum...Yammy!!!
