2 men busted for tattooing teenage girls
ICHINOMIYA, Aichi -- Two tattoo artists have been arrested here for tattooing underage teenage girls in separate incidents, police said.
Yusuke Ushijima, 21, a construction worker from Nagoya's Kita-ku, and Kiyoe Namikawa, 24, unemployed of Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, were both arrested for breaking a prefectural government ordinance aimed at providing youth with a wholesome upbringing.
"She asked us to do it because it looked cool," one of the suspects told the police.
Police said that early on the morning of Jan. 10, Ushijima tattooed a 16-year-old girl's right wrist.
Namikawa, meanwhile, used a safety pin, needle and ink to etch a heart and cross above the breast of a 15-year-old junior high school girl in an Ichinomiya park. (Mainichi)
