well, as you all know or should know that khmer and laos names are pretty similar, a lot of them are.

khmer laos
Chanthy Chanty
Sovanna Souvanna


well, that's all i can think of right now . i know there's more so list them up.

I have a Laotian friend who has the name Soriya. I beleived it is spelt the same way as ours.

wonder if lao name have the same meaning as khmer name.

hahah..This is not relate to Khmer but Lao and Thai name are more similar..at least the way I see...I have some lao friend and their friend are as long as thai...don't know why....yes Lao and Khmer names are similar..

Maybe, our three Ancestors were related a blood altogether in the past!! I can tell about the Thais color skins, and Laos color skins are so similar our Khmer's...Do you think what i think??

Even the Thais words are similar to our Khmer's, too. But i dun know about the Laos letters how look like are!!!

So, we, all three nations should become in once!! Then we could rely to each other! How is that??

You should'nt be suprised to find similar names/words in Khmer, Thai or Laos. We are so close together, it would only seem natural to have had influenced and shared words/names with each other.

well, i think khmer, thais, and lao are very similar to each other. i can't tell the writing between khmer and thai but not thai and laos. i guess i haven't seem lao writing that much...
