I just need to ask a few questions on Kendo cause I'm thinking of taking it up. Is it physically damanding? Does it require you to be really fit? Has anyone here do Kendo? If so can you just tell me how you feel about it? Was it tough but worthwhile?
Cause I wanna do something different from Karate or Taekwando.

Sorry, dont know that much about Kendo. but since you mentioned Kendo, theres something ive been wondering if anybody knows. is Kendo the same/similar as Korean Kumdo and Vietnamese Kiem Dao? or is Kumdo and Kiem Dao indigenous versions a sword arts?

I practice Kendo 3 times a week. Unlike regular martial arts like Karate, Hap Ki Do you don’t see lot of kicking punching. You need to hold the sword for quiet long time and fight with your opponents. You may want to choose light weight sword in the initial. When i first started learning I practiced with Daito, Sinai and lite weight sword. I just brought a sword from Japan and it’s excellent.
