First of all, shouldn't there be a Asian entertainment forum since there is a Nonasian entertainment forum?

Secondly, is it posible to get a Cantonese sub division in the Chinese chat as well cuz I am really sick of seeing all the divide and conflict when they are in the same forum in mandarin
stuff like: the language should be destroyed cuz its so horrible
or cantonese ppl are ugly
then there is the language barrier

I kinda agree about the Asian Entertainment thing, since we all watch movies/telly from across the continent.

Perhaps the Non-Asian Entertainment forum can be made into just > Entertainment Chat and can have a sub-forum for Asian entertainment.

What's the point of that? This is an internet forum, we communicate with written words, not through audible dialogue where we can distinguish between dialects. i sort of agree on getting a canton/HK sub-forum. i mean, you have one for taiwan so why not one for the 'Special Administrative Region'.

sometimes ppl type in the pronounciation and not the characters.....dats how they know if they are typing cantonese or mandarin

Those posts usually just end up in "Japan chat", "Korean chat" etc.

getting an asian entertainments section, we can actually encourage people to discuss asian media more and so keep the entertainment section growing.

Yeah but I'm just thinking if you move the entertainment threads away from their cultural sections, what's going to be left in those sections?

we can always talk about what's happening in the chinese societies, this way, we can keep the members up-to-date of what's going on in china, HK etc. i'm sayinf social stuffs and things that are related to chinese.

besides, since not all members go to other asian chats other than their own ones so setting up an asian entertainment section will let members (from various ethnic backgrounds) to know more about entertainments in other asian countries like indonesia etc.

i'm not sure if this will work eventually but why not give it a go? even though the entertainment section is growing but at a very slow rate. no offence to AF, compare with other entertainment forums, AF is like miles behind. even if you have 400, 000 members, i bet half of them haven't been visiting AF for a while.

I think there should be a subforum for either the cantonese/southerners/all ethnic/language minorities because these are the ppl getting owned by the Northerners or Mandarin speaking ppl, just what I am seeing

Umm you know those supposedly northerners or mandarin members who kept flaming you might actually be southerners, or cantonese themselves? LOL Besides, there's nothing stopping people posting in other sections of the forum you know. I don't see how that will solve your problem.
