man, one time i saw the japan vs. usa soccer game on the tv. they played in sf like two-three weeks ago.
us was up 3-0, japan looked like they didn't care if they won or not, but scored one goal. japanese fans cheered, but then the us crowd sounded angry that they dare cheer and started chanting USA USA to drown out the japanese cheers. i don't think japanese fans or any world fans would do that, have they?
who knows maybe thats why they are pulling out...

My last trip to SF Japantown was early last year,an area near PEACE PLAZA.I had this unpleasant experience with an old school Japanese man confronted me with angers like ... What Japantown ? it's been took over by some other
Asians.
Japanese inmitations manufactured by so and so Asian contries
Japanese restaurants are mostly non-Japanese ownership
Japanese population declined in the last decades .... BLAH BLAH
