AWESOME POSTER! DAMN STRAIGHT!!

I havent read anything in Tibetan since 2003 and today I read a advertisement in Tibetan for the first time in 3 yrs. Shame on me! I mean I noticed that some of my friends at UVA who are learning Tibetan told me that they are so fascinated by the language and I completely agree with it...just a small ex: there are more than 30 ways to say the word MOON and most of us only know like 2 or 3. Tibetan monks know alot about those very deep and complicated Tibtan astrological stuff....Our language is one of the most classical one and is little bit similar to Indian sanskrit which is one of the most ancient language of all time..go do ur research on why sanskrit is such a cool language... so any way, I have never posted anything in Tibetan, so its a good way for me to also show how it looks like...(there are 3 forms of writing and the one I am posting is the one we see in books and newspapapers...we do not write in this form)

the second form of writing is usually for students from elementary to middle school. and the last form is for high school, college and grown up ppl. Most importantly, IT IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM CHINESE(chinese themselves admit that their writing is actually "unscientific" because there is no freaking alphabet system like Tibetan and English and many other languges...?? It is like you trying to find a needle in the ocean. Thats why ppl always complain Chinese is so hard to learn it and as matter of fact, most ppl think its the hardest. For ppl who dont know chinese, its characters look like small houses in their eye. so next time when you order stuff at chinese kitchen, just say: "ching ching chong chong..." and tell them that they can blindfold themselves with even show laces! hahahahaha

By the way...ppl have go get this straight: TAIWANESE ARE DEFINITELY NOT CHINESE UNLESS SOME OF THEM HAVE ROOTS IN CHINA LIKE THE STUPID SONG CHU YU..THE HEAD OF TAIWANS PPL FIRST PARTY....CHINESE ARE CHINESE, TAIWANESE ARE TAIWANESE(THEY ARE JUST SOOOO DIFFERENT...GOTTA LOVE TAIWAN AND SUPPORT ITS INDEPENDENCE!!) JUST B/C TAIWANESE HAPPEN TO SPEAK MANDARIN, PPL LABLE THEM AS CHINESE TOO...ITS A VERY STUPID THOUGHT.....

Tibetans are a failed race. You know that right?

Pretty soon, those characters will be on nothing but cave walls.

Whining about Tibet over the internet is like trying to solve a calculus problem by yelling at it. It makes no difference, but it's hilarious watching.

disgusting.... many other cultures see the Chinese as a dumb laboring group who will never achieve anything great.

Hey, guys, Do you know what is the first post trying to say? I don't quite understand. It talks about " I love Japan", and It says about learning Tibetan language, sometimes it says Chinese language is too hard to learn. Finally it says "go for TW TI something"? what's the main point of the whole post? I think elementary pupil could write better than him. hahahaaa...that's why he think Chinese is so hard to learn. He can't even manage the easilest language- English.
PurpleSnowlion, if you wanna say "Go ! TW Independent", say it in the beginning. Then everybody will know your main point. If your main point is "I love Japan", then you are doing fine. But you need to develope that thesis in the body part.
Work harder on language, believe you can do better. If a people can't learn a language doesn't mean the language is hard, it only means the people himself is DUMP !!!!!

If most Chinese think like BigBenChow saying the Tibetans are a failed race, then the Chinese already have.

Bo or Bhod means tibet depending on the dialect.

A tibetan person is called Bhopa, but some people can call themselves different things depending on where they come from.. like a person from Kham is called a Khampa, and a person from Amdo is called an Amdokpa.

If most Tibetans think like Purplesnowlion, Han's dominance over Tibetans can be easily explained.

Good luck freeing Tibet.

Damn, please don't ruin Tibetans' pride. They are far more smarter than Purplesnowlion.
Purplesnowlion's only a native Taiwanese who has no blood relationship with our Chinese.
Don't put them in the same level with Tibetans.

Is it left to right,

tibetan is written left to right, and sometimes up and down if when they use write it in phags-pa/horyig style.

btw, nobody actually uses that font to write unless they're typing.... there are handwriting styles that are a lot easier....

The only missing thing in his life is Falun Gong and Scientology. His life will be an even bigger joke once the circle is completed.

Are you really that surprised I said that? When Purplelionsnow made this hideous post?

"For ppl who dont know chinese, its characters look like small houses in their eye. so next time when you order stuff at chinese kitchen, just say: "ching ching chong chong..." and tell them that they can blindfold themselves with even show laces! hahahahaha"

Thats doesn't amaze you at all huh? icon_rolleyes.gif

My statement still stands. Failed. Live with it. Good luck freeing Tibet.

Obviously locking this for the anti-Chinese sentiment that BigBenChow pointed out.
