Hey guys. next week, my girlfriend and i, along with 2 of her friends, are gonna go to houston. its my first time. its gonna take us 8 hours to drive to houston. i was just wondering, wat do u guys suggest i do in houston? wat are some good viet restuarants or shops there? is there a certain place i should go to have fun, like a go carts, putput golf, etc? thanks in advance

Book a hotel and have lots of hot sweaty sex. What else is there to do in a boring place like Houstin?

if you like shopping you can always go to the Galleria.

^^^ houston isnt that boring.....or shouldn't be to a tourist...

there's plenty to do down here...just know the right people and you'll get around...

we have plenty of clubs and lots of vietnamese restaurants...
if you're looking for spending....Galleria will be the place....along with our ten other malls...

well,
i cant believe it is more boring than louisiana.
All we have is mardi gras....most asian are either east bank ( mostly destroyed but coming back), west bank, or baton rouge.
other than those places you are bored as ****

Correct. Been here for about five years now and never really had a dull moment. Its all about where you hang out and what your interests are. If you are looking to hoe yourself out there are better places to be....aka NYC, etc. If you prefer more outdoors sports like the I, it is a brilliant launching point.

wow way old thread...but tons of things to do in houston:

Galleria/Uptown/Westheimer-trendy upscale restaurants and shops
Rice Village-college campus, nice strip mall, great college type bars
Midtown-Trendy yuppie restaurants & bars & clubs
Downtown but just on Main St-nice clubs
SW burbs/Clear Lake-Kemah boardwalk, Vito's deckhouse, Pinnches, bikini beach club, big texas

Nah, thay're very boring. I live near Houston, it's pretty boring. Can't wait til they build a Disney park here, that's when the boredom will stop. Besides the only thing people here are good at is drinking cough syrup with soda. If you listen to alot of hip hop from houston you'll understand.
