There is race and ethnicity. I'll take Chinese for example since I am one.
I am Han Chinese, but I can't say I am 100% Han. Why? How do I know if ALL my ancestors were Han. It's been known that Han had been mixing with foriegners in the past. Also, the Han ethnic isn't pure either, it was made up of the Huaxia and Dongyi tribes.
You all can say whatever you want. To be, it seems silly to say you are 100% of anything...
I was specifically refering to the reasoning behind this.
