ako naman, yung florante at laura.
santoloco
maganda rin yun!!!(florante at laura)!!! ako minsan while i was day dreaming in class, i thought of making a movie about Noli Me Tangere. i thought that it would be a great script for a movie. haha, i actually planned and had actual actors while organizing and watching this movie in my head. i dunno, i guess i was just being weird that day. i had enrique iglesias, ricky martin, cesar montano, piolo pascual, jericho rosales, aubrey miles, Iza Calzado, andrea del rosario, tanya garcia and lucy torres acting in this movie. it looks good while watching it. very epic, tragic and dramatic!!! it was a classic.

damn i should hve had a recorder to record that movie!!! it was just soo good!!! i wish i could show it to u guys, too bad i cant find it in my brain library. ahahahahahaha embarassedlaugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

very artistic indeed. now is that photo of his execution, an actual photo or is it just a drawing photographed during that era??

Many Malays in Malaysia are called Rizal, it's a proper pan-Malay name.

they teach filipino history everywhere in southeast asia. i dunno why, maybe because our history is just sooo damn interesting. we have like sooo many bayanis in our filipino history, which makes it more interesting. in my opinion, filipino history tops all history in the world. unlike here in canada where history class is just sooo damn plain and boooring, cuz nothing really happened in here.

Just bits of it. Rizal came under theme of the rise of nationalism in southeast Asia and early indepedence movements.

Rizal did not write Florante at Laura, unless you were not implying that.

I don't think we have any one particular hero. But for me it'd be Onn Jaafar. Don't think he was as artistically inclined as Jose Rizal though.

Let's get back to him, shall we? icon_redface.gif
