you mean devangari? hell no. i dont & i cant. i think for me its more important to learn kanji, if anything. japanese language & culture is something i'm most interested in for now, at least.

some tagalog dialects tends to velarize coronal nasals and palatalize obstruent coronals before /i/

/si/ and /se/ tend to be affected by postalveolars after it

do you know that phonemes found in northern tagalog regions(manila, bulakan, rizal etc) like S,dZ and tS are pronounced as s,ts and dz in southern regions like cavite, for example dyan(Ĝan)(demonstrative from of diyan) is prunounced as dzan and tyan(Ĉan)(demonstrative from of tiyan) is tsan in cavitenyo and batanguenyo except in urban areas.

SHe a mail order???? good question..... i wish i knew how the 50 year old was or vilma? I think my wife is just try to set her friends sister up with someone. she sent me this email and said if i wanted to know what it said i had to figure it out myself..lol.......but it is hard with all the slang type terms.......

here is the rest of it..i think i know this section

god056
Broken into sentences so you could understand each better. It would be shorter if I just present the essence of the message, but where's the fun in that? beerchug.gif

Well hindi lang siguro ngayon ang right time para magkaroon kayo ng tsikiting, ganon talaga pag gusto mo ayaw namang dumating kaya hayaan na lang muna.
Now is not the right time to have kids. Life's like that, the more you want, the harder to achieve.

Pards, may I ask if Ate Vilma already has a husband? I have a 50 year old friend from the US who's looking for a wife.

I can't remember anything (latest news?) regarding Ate Vi, and could you also send me her cell number? I have deleted her number from my address book.

"tsikiting" is used to connote for "kids" icon_smile.gif
"tsismis" is for "gossip" icon_smile.gif

btw, "pards" might be a slang for "pare". "Pare" -> "Pards"

It could also mean "father"
"Father" ->"Pader" -> "Pards"

But I think you already know it icon_smile.gif I just thought of mentioning it anyway.

Chickboy's birthday didn't push through because of the signal 9 storm. (signal 9?!?! wtf... I guess the speaker was just exaggerating.)

This sentence means that the party was moved to Saturday because the gifts would be a waste (which was a joke).

Badong wasn't able to do anything since I still bought the bike for Stan. Kulit cried "Nice!!" since (he/she) really liked the new (gift?) that (he/she) could turn her attention to.

edit 1:
I have those in parenthesis since I'm not sure about the gender or what the speaker was talking about (in the case of "kulit")

"Badong" is used as a common nickname given to some male friends/family.

"Tsikiting" covers kids below the age of puberty.

"Tsikiting Patrol"
TV show way back into the (early '90's?) showcasing kid talents ages ranging from around 9 to 12 years old.

What is MAKULIT in English?
god056
Any of these would do:
"NAG" or "BADGER" or "PEST"

"Huwag ka makulit" -> "Stop nagging me!" / "Stop badgering!" / "Stop being a pest."
"Ang kulit ng asawa ko" -> "My wife is such a nagger/badger/pest."

"Panunuya"

I had to ask around since wala akong alam na Tagalog word for "sarcasm".

"Panunuya" is "irony" which is synonymous to "sarcasm"
