The close neighboring ties between Laos and Cambodia have been strengthened in recent years, said Lao President Khamtay Siphandone and Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni, who visited Laos from March14-16.

In a press communique released at the end of the King’s visit, the two sides spoke highly of the time-honored traditional friendship between the people of Laos and Cambodia as well as the multi-faceted cooperation between the two countries.

On this occasion, the two sides informed each other of the socio-economic development and achievements in each country. Both sides pledged to continue developing the bilateral friendship with the aim of fulfilling the two peoples’ interests.

The two countries have been so far busy with trying to get out of poverty, with Cambodia making a stronger progress towards democracy during the past decade. Had Cambodia and Laos been better developed, i.e. with a better economy and infrastructure, bilateral ties between the two countries would have been stronger.

propotionally, there are load of articles regardless of baliteral trading in various social and development amongs the south east Asia, with Cambodia. In regardl, it's a massive surprised to see such deveopment among the nations, merely from viewing the articles.
In reality, as I hav actually witnessing the country in large degree, I have unabled to see any potential improvement.
Therefore, the articles are mainly baised and misleading. Just in my opinion.
