About
The AsiaFinest Islamic Society was set up to provide a vehicle for committed AsiaFinest Muslims to combine their knowledge, skills and efforts for the benefit of one another and AsiaFinest chatters as a whole, through the promotion of Islam and Islamic values.
Islam and Muslims
Islam is a religion with a spiritual message that connects man with his one, true Creator. Through consciousness of Him Islam dissipates moral disease such as greed, egotism and self-indulgence.
AsiaFinest Islamic Society realises that at present many Muslims are absorbed in the stale historic debates and distractions with minor issues, which have held them back for centuries. These debates have little relevance to other AF chatters or the essence of the true Islamic faith. Instead, AsiaFinest Islamic Society sees Islam as a dynamic force, which inspires its followers to actively engage in society, bringing to society a sincere concern for its betterment and a message of tolerance, peace and optimism.
AsiaFinest Islamic Society wants to assist Muslims in their desire to live up to the teachings of their faith. Islam inspires its adherents to broaden their outlook and strengthen ties with their creator. A realisation of the deeper meaning to life, the importance of intentions and the wider consequences of actions leads to a shift in the character of a God-conscious Muslim. He or she becomes more sincere, thoughtful, responsible and caring.
We hear much talk these days of patriotism, and from some prominent journalists, the accusation that all Muslims are disloyal and even constitute a fifth column in this world. We cannot deny that these hateful sentiments find support in the violent behaviour of some misguided Muslims, but they number no more than a handful. On the basis of this tiny number it is inconceivable that an entire minority, two million in population, should be labelled "disloyal"- this is mere hatemongering. What we must not overlook is the deeper meaning of patriotism. Many people, through for instance, their avoidance of taxes, show their greatest loyalty lies towards their own selves and to their comfortable lives: they serve their personal interests above those of the greater society. AsiaFinest Islamic Society on the other hand, assists Muslims to live up to Islam and so become motivated towards a sincere concern and desire to help the wider society. This is a deep and genuine patriotism.
Who should join?
Study of the world's religions will lead to an understanding of religious diversity.Understanding will lead to inter-religious dialogue.Dialogue will lead to peace among religions.Peace among religions will lead to peace among nations.
AsiaFinest Islamic Society welcomes all Muslims and non-Muslims, helping them understand Islam and live by its teachings and principles. We strongly believe that working for Islam is not just about campaigning for Muslim rights, but also about sharing Islam's view on God, life and society. We do so as an organised and dedicated group, engaging in sincere and constructive dialogue.

Assalamu 'alaikum Bang Tengku
Thanks for the invitation...
I agree with you..., let's spread Islam's true nature: As-Salaam means "Peace" or "Surender" to the will of God.
May peace be with you all brothers and sisters..,
Don't let extremist hijack the name of Islam.
But I warn you...., I expect there's might be some ignorant "Islam haters" here in AF Forum.
Possibility of flaming is high.
So we must be patience on explaining Islam to them.
Sabaaar....,

His father was Abdullah and his Mother was Aminah
his father died before he was born and at a very young age of 6 yrs... his mother passed away
and then Prophet Muhammad's ( Peace be upon him) grandfather Abd al-Muttalib took care of him... and two years later his grandfather passed away... so his uncle Abu Talib looked after him...and his uncle loved him dearly.

I’m not sure what u already know about Islam
But... it’s good to start with... the Fundamentals of the Belief of Islam
The words that are spoken when one becomes a Muslim are few but so significant. With the utterance of these words, a person acknowledges Allah (God) as the Creator and Sustainer of all, and acknowledges the Messengership of Prophet MuHammad (peace be upon him), the last of the chain of Prophets calling to Islaam.
There is no one worthy of worship except Allah
and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His Prophet
Muslims believe that there is only one true God... and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is Allah's final messenger.
Allah states in the Qur’aan a verse which means:
Say: He is Allah, the One! Allah, the One Who doesn’t need anything but everything else needs Him! He begetteth not nor was begotten. And there is none comparable unto Him
[Qur'an 112:1-4]
Before Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) there were many messengers and prophets of Allah ... and these prophets such as prophet Noah, Abraham, Jesus, Moses, David, Solomon, Ishmael, Issac, Lut and many more messengers and prophets ( may peace be upon them all) were also teaching the same monotheistic teachings which is ...To Believe in Allah alone as the Creator and Sustainer of all that exist and to make no partners in worship with Allah... and to submit completely to Allah.
Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was the final messenger from amongst the chain of prophets.
Adam (peace be upon him) the 1st man... was also a Muslim and a Prophet…he submitted to the one true God Allah… and he did not associate partners with Allah.
in shaa' Allaah ( God willing), I hope this has given you a deeper insight into the Islamic belief

Every Prophet of Allah, ranging from Prophet Adam to the final Prophet, Muhammad (may peace and blessings be upon them all) never worshipped other than Allah....Allah protected them from blasphemy even before their prophethood they never even drank alcohol, or stole or committed fornication ETC. ... all the prophets of Allah before and during their prophethood were truthful and honourable.

yes it would be nice for the muslims to explain about Islam in aspect where they have knowledge about.
PS: to all my sisters and brothers out there...as we know talking about Islam is not a trival and small matter.... its something very important.. and we will be held accountantable on the day of judgement on whatever we say and do... so we have to becareful as to what we say.
....so i urge u when u do explain and talk about Islam... plz use the Quran and authentic hadith of the prophet Muhammad ( may peace be upon him)... we SHOULD NOT.. add stuff or our opinion in as to what we think the answer might be or answer our questions based on our opinion and assumptions... and if we do not know a question our fellow AF members have asked us... we just simpley say .. ' i do not know'
.. since its better to remain silent in matter where we have no or little knowledge about then to say stuff which is not correct in Islam....so sis and bro just explain to our fellow AF memebers Islam how it really is.
thanx for da attention
and welcome all.

Very very interesting....is this actually true?
I found the belief of Confucius(PBUH), I am almost sure that Muhammad(PBUH) did not know of the existence of Confucius(PBUH). Lastly, just curious, is Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) actually the youngest prophet out of all these prophets?

Please don't think I am making trouble here, but who is Prophet Adam? Is he the same person mentioned in the bible with Eve?
If he is the same person, didn't he steal the apple and make out with Eve?
