Full Version: Whats the Japanese view of Cambodia?
Just wanted to know? Ive been seeing post like this thats why.
Cambodia is best known as the country of Siem Rep and Angkor Wat. Many Japanese tourist want to go there because we know its the United Nations World Heritage Site. So we are proud of it as great human history and marvelous achievement for the whole world. 
Your country is also known as the place occurred many regional and civil wars, like American bombs, Pol Pot and Khmer Ruge, etc. So your country has difficult experiences. Japan fully supports your country to become stable, peaceful and developed so we send many development assistance of financial aid, and also many experts and volunteers go there by Japanese government agency called JICA. Japan's government also accepts many Cambodian students to come study in Japan every year and take back new Japanese ideas for you to help your country become more developed and prosperous. Personally, I met a couple of Cambodia students in unversity. They seemed very serious about studying in Japanese education system, and they hope to return to your country to develop it more and more. They also had sense of humor, so my impression is Cambodians like to make jokes
2 But I couldnt taste your Cambodian foods yet, I dont know what it is, so maybe next time i will try. Im curious its taste.

Thanks you very much for letting me know, and for Cambodian food it can be compared to Thai and Vietnamese but alot more earthy and Hearty and less spicy!

WoW! So the Japan and Cambodian become a great friendship in the world!! Good to know that...I thanks you(Japan) so much for focus and donate some budgets to rebuild my beloved Khmer Country.
I have another suggestion for the Japan is. Could you help us to remove the dictatorial Regime out of my Khmer country????? The only you able to prostrate that brutal regime...

Jungle Fever, I think you have something against khmer, how the heck do you know what the true khmer look like, when only the khmers truly know who they are which I do, so leave us alone, we khmer have been through so much!!! Im just here to start a conversation and I see black kids labeled as true khmer, what the hell, One more time, we are not African.
