I'm more of a BMW guy.

BMW still uses manual transmissions in their cars. They still got the sporty driving spirit in their blood, Whereas most if, not all, mercedes comes in automatic.

bmw's M series is great, but Class wize. Benz is more luxery although I do love that V12 twin turbo S600 icon_smile.gif

Love Benz! I'll choose any AMG Benz over a modified import whether it has 300HP or 1500HP

Benz is all luxury + performance
AMG Benz is all luxury + speed + performance

After i start reeling in some c@$h, im going to get me one of those AMG >.<

I would rather go lexus. Heard Mercedes and BMW's reliability isn't great.
Dpham313
mercedes are nice cars. but they fit old people. young people don't look right driving mercedes. i like lexus cuz they build true and reliable sport luxury cars

European cars have a love affair with the mechanic. My brother sells quite a bit of everything but he drives a lexus.

i saw that car at the autoshow with my friend....
once we saw it...we just stood there for like 5 minutes....
staring at it...with out jaws open eek.gif...

i think we both jizzed out pants....it looked sooo nice

Lexus' engine, comfort, performance, is superb and very near Benz level but is not up there yet

imo in about 2010-2015, all cars will be the same in terms of performance/engine wise cause of technology. People are learning more about the technology to make better engines. Chinese cars around 2010-2015 will be around Korean car status right now possibly. Slight differences will be the outside exterior.

The new M-Class looks like a block of $hit beerchug.gif

Honestly, I reckon the SLK's the only good looking thing in Merc's current batch of models.

Benz is definately more luxury and classy than BMW. But BMW just has that sporting flair that is untouched.

The BMW 3 series is the benchmark for other companies to look upon. I think it is the top 10 car of the year on automobile magazine or car and drivers list for 15 years in a row or something absolutely crazy like that. lol

Whoever said Mercedes and BMW reliability is not up to par with Lexus is...

ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! haha. I love BMW's, but I got to admit they are a pain in the butt sometimes. Mercedes is the same way.

I'll still choose a Benz over a lexus ^.^

It's got alot of cool features... looks like $hit... but a very nice car.... at my dealership we're having problem with wrapped rotors on those cars. We've replace two with less than 5 miles on it.

I don't like the old mercedes but some newer looking ones are quite nice. Either way I still prefer BMW more.
asianbebe_qt
Mercedes Benz... they are nice classy luxury cars... if u got the money.... but not my cup of tea even if i had the money... but they are a good looker...
juwanFromTaiwan
I've seen Jews drive a Mercedes-Benz and seem to not have a problem with the fact that Jews were rounded up and put in MB trucks to be incenerated in Ovens some 60 yrs ago. embarassedlaugh.gif2

Germans and all European cars are under achievers and use a racial standard to gain notereity. They did not make it in the top 10 list in terms of the vital reliability and people buy them are brain washed idiots.

Audi is better :P

Mercedes makes an exceptional automobile, but for any of their high end luxury cars (100k+) I would rather take a Porsche. There's just that something about the 911 Turbo that says "deal maker" -- can anyone say dream car sine-qua non? I certainly can.
IndoNYC
You can't really compare a Mercedes Benz with a Porsche though. They're two totally different type of car.

What exactly is the difference between a $100k convertible coupe from one make to the other?
juwanFromTaiwan
Neither are worth the price with their gass guzzling ways and unreliability. You know they havent had a single car make it into the reliability list. BMWs are notoriously for electrical problems and Mercedes has issues from that to every other thing.

I think the fact is that the great majority of BMWs, Audis, etc are reliable and will never give you any problems -- and if they did your warranty will cover the defects. And gas guzzling? Common, when you're spending over $100k on a car you can afford to spend extra on gas.

YUP!!!...Im more into Audis and BMWs....that's why I Own one...but back in the days audis weren't that popular ...when i was still living in France audis were considered as regular cars...and couldn't compete with BMW and MERCEDES..but i dunno what happened to it becuz all the suddent it became like expensive as hell

Mercedes r sleek n very smooth to drive but sometimes can have problems, not as reliable as BMW but then again u want to be individual cos near everyone has a BM. My dad has a CLK 200 Kompressor n it is very very smooth. Mercedes r alrite but then again mite not be big bang for ur buck.
