I for one think that its great how Thailand finally stepped up to the plate with youngsters who can compete with the rest of Asia. All the other singers are nice... some are great... But the best of the best is a lil too old for teens. Such singers like Bird are not as appealing as Golf and Mike... right now, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE "TEENS".... "We" are what makes stars who they are. We buy their cds, watch their movies, etc etc... It's nice to see someone your own age instead some one who's like 5, 10, 20, 40 years older.

Great that Thailand finally stepped up to the plate to compete with other Asia? It's so sad that they had to dress 'em (Gold+Mike) like some jpop singers in order for them to be noticed. People only like them because of their image and their image is NOT Thai-ish AT ALL. "They look japanese!" Is all you hear. How do they represent Thailand?
I agree that they're good singers. Their dancing skills...I don't know...sorta sloppy. Need a little more practice to sync. Props to them for actually dancing.
They're not all bad, just that I don't think they should be the one getting all the fame and going "International" when they don't have anything that represents Thailand. More like they're representing Japan and Korea.

Tee-hee I first saw them doing this one "top 10" concert or something. New singers and groups from different companies came together for the concert. I see what you are saying, but I also want you to see my point of view. Hear me out, since I went through the trouble to register in this forum just to reply to your post.
I see Golf and Mike as Thailand's pride. I am not Thai or Japanese, but I became interested in Thailand after seeing GYM's PV, 'fever to future'. I believe that Golf-Mike is going to bring more recognition to Thailand, and I see it as a positive thing for the country. Golf-Mike DO NOT represent Japan or Korea, they represent Thailand and all their fans know it. I admit that I thought they were Japanese when I first saw them, but that doesn't change the fact that they are Thai. Thanks to them, I'm starting to notice Thailand and become interested in Thai music.
You said that their style doesn't look Thai, but isn't style defined by the individual, not the country?
You are entitled to your own believes, but I hope you can see things from this side of view as well.
