I think best friend is the one who can accept u, no matters people said about u, and u can act the way u are in front of them.
Best friend is also who can understand u without talk a lot, he/she can know what u think or what will u do in a situation.
My best friends mostly are men, they are really care about me, even they married.

Aku punya banyak kenalan dan casual friends, tapi untuk yg namanya sahabat aku sangat picky. Not my intension to be picky though. From my father I inherit the analytical observer skills while from my mother I got the intuitive observer traits. So when I meet people I could instantly decide wether I like them or not. Part obvious reasons, part guts feeling. Most of the time I never fail reading people. So when one I call a friend, they really are.

Beruntung sekali aku punya beberapa sahabat baik (di luar emak aku sendiri). Lebih dari keluarga. Soulmate abis. Bener-bener saling ngerti. We could talk to each other with just our eyes or gestures. Oftenly we say things our best friends r meaning to say.

On particular time I would have the urge to go online & in second after I log in I would hear the buzz of my messenger saying that one of my best bud is on too. We log in at almost the same time. This lil things happen alot between me & my best buds. Ikatan batin.

^ sometimes at the end of a long day, when one of my close friends says something, or tries to say something that is not an ounce bit coherent (u know those days where u can't even construct a simple sentence).. and i say.. 'u know what (insert her name here).. what u said made no sense whatsoever.. but i understand u 100%' or sometimes before she even says what she wants to.. i say.. 'i know what u are about to say, and i agree with u' and i always get it right. we are always thinking the same thing.

i also tell her really embarrassing things that i wouldn't even dare right into my diary. she has been inside my brain. i tell her EVERYTHING. only when i need to speak to someone though.

i think everyone needs to talk to someone like that. otherwise we'll all go nuts.

she is not exactly like me though. we are two very different people.

to have some2 u trust and someone to exchange throughs and advice.. its a gr8 feeling.
its good to have a best friend...it makes me feel conected and give me a sense that i belong.

I oftenly find my lovers got jealous of my best friends because of what I'm sharing with them. There are parts of me that I do not share to anyone but my real close friends.

i have a best friend. i first met her on the first day in high school.
she was my classmate on the first year only, and we didn't sit at the same desk.
i met & talk to her only during our waiting for the school gate was opened.
i seldom spent time with her on weekends or holidays.
well... we sometimes went out together but with some other friends too; not only two of us.
after we had graduated from high school, she moved to another city.

yes... most of the time we are not together... not at the same places... cities....
but, she is the best of my best friend.

we tell each other everything!! yes, everything!! though by internet or telephone only.
we trust each other & care about each other.

she's my best friend, my sister,... and i hope our friendship would be an everlasting one

I used to have a best friend where I could share anything with him and he wouldn't judge me, but after getting married to my wife, she's now my best friend.

i used to have a best friend waktu SD, but now we dont even talk to each other. hehe.. now i only have some really close friends..

Friends Forever? I think it does happen. My dad's got a friend and his daughter has a friend since they were in primary school, and now they graduated university. They live together now, in DC, with my dad's friend's family.
