Full Version: Why do Hmongs hate ?
I think since hmong people don't have a country, a lot are poor and have shame...most of them try to they think they are the best at everything... to make them feel good about themselves...since they dont want to look bad in front of others...

You can call yourself an American all you want. But go to a bunch of White people and they'll instantly see you as the Asian you are. Sure, he may be an American, but the White will consider him Asian American, not White American, and we all know that's how Chai Vang happened.

I have seen on numerous sites on how Hmongs claim that other minority group hates on them... but instead i have come to a realization that Hmongs hate on others and themselves even more. They help to contribute these sort of feelings because of the ignorance some of us put fourth and portray. How can Hmongs as a whole be victims when America has offer more freedom then any other countries?
...just random thoughts.
because america denies the truth about the war and marks us as the scapegoat. how can we trust a country who don't even understand us or respect us for what our parents and grandparents did for them. If it wasn't for the hmoob people more american lives would have been lost and all we get are stereotypes and unequal treatments. because of the americans ignorance of our help makes us victims and though we try to help them see the right way they choose not to listen, but make there own judgements.

that's a mean thing to say...just b/c they're poor doesn't mean they are uneducated or stupid...not all hmong people are rich...they just live decently...the ones that are usually stupid are those who don't move with the flow of the world and is still stuck in time...
imo, a lot of people do hate on Hmongs, but I think the Hmong community do close themselves to the outside world. More Hmongs just needs to open up and be more sociable so people know more about us. It's all the misunderstandings.
