^the 'mam' version is the real deal. any non-mam versions is just a sanitized version designed for whitey audience.
again, your version of 'mam ruoc' is too sanitized'. it is not made from salted meat, but salted and fermented 'ruoc' which is like very tiny small shrimps and like all 'mam', it stinks to high heaven.

I didn't read anything graphic in this story except for the end (but it was really tame)
It was a good story though.
