Every Japanese speaking female or likely of Japanese descendant I'd seen for the past few months, in campus or malls or just down the streets, roughly 70 percent of them is being with a non Japanese guy. I see them laughing, playing around, just enjoying themselves. Nothing wrong with that, but I spot a contrast with the Japanese girls that date Japanese guys, they don't seem to be enjoying themselves. Just quiet and doing boring things or nothing at all. It's a shame to see quite a few attractive Japanese girls with so so guys. Obviously, most of these people are not serious, but will these Japanese ladies go back to their Japanese guys withouth looking back? Or will they just abandon them forever? I know other oriental girls are also guilty, but the Japanese girls took em to a new level. And 70 percent might be an understatement. Its like every Asiaphile out there is looking for a Japanese girl. And these girls enjoys the attention and they obviously like the whitemen(the American trophy). They see this being trendy and attractive. But why do they see it that way? How it end up like that?

It may be that alot of non Japanese people find Japanese women very attractive. I am not japanese and I love japanese women. In my opinion, I think Japanese/asian women in general are beautiful without question. I mean look at the female J-pop artists (Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro etc.) and the Japanese actresses (Yumiko Shaku, Sadako from Ringu, Azumi etc.). If Japan has women this hot, alot more non Japanese people would jump at the chance to date Japanese women.

That doesnt have anything to do with why japanese females choose date so many non-japanese.
Plenty of guys find korean women attractive but koreans dont date outside their ethnicity as much.

I think it also depends on the country on how much "Western" it gets how more mixing is going to be.

Also you have to bear in mind the majority of Japanese girls don't look any where as good as there celebrities. Even of I want to date or marry Japanese girls, I do have standards.

I have no idea why they date outside of their own race in a higher (perceived) percentage than other races, or other asians in general, but I definitely don't see anything wrong with it. Perhaps it means that they're not so race-conscious? Why should everyone date exclusive to their own race? Wasn't it Martin Luther King, Jr.'s dream that we see past racial lines? I think it's encouraging.
