Bak ha mung

my non-asian friends think filipino is the better sounding among the ne/se asian languages(they said filipino sounds like that we're actually saying words, & they said the other ones just sounds like they're just making weird noises)

but its really hard to speak tagalog. had it not been for my tagalog parents, i cudnt speak the language well.

theirs is a full acoustic of repetitive syllables like:
know - kilala
know (somebody) - kakilala
known (each other) - nagkakilanlan
knows - nakakakikilala (argg...toungue twista)

or in a jeepney:
driver: Bababa ba?
passenger: Bababa.
(at nagka-intindihan sila pare)

its a filipino thing... and its nice laugh.gif

r ur parents from manila?, cuz the Manileņo Tagalog is kinda easier cuz it's much slower & uses a lot of foreign words

I have a Hispanic friend who watches Filipino variety shows and he said he liked the sound of Tagalog due to the foreign words being used confused.gif

well... it depends. if u speak straight up fast tagalog wih no slang then it sounds like crap to foreign ears. but if u speak it in a sexy 'sosyal' manilaspeak way.... then hell yeah, its SEXY.

that only works if ur a hot looking girl & ur carrying a vuitton bag, tho. laugh.gif

I love Tagalog! It sounds awesome. When I first heard it, it sounded like halfway between Indonesian and Spanish. But after a while, it began to sound 'unique' to my ears, and it really is lovely. beerchug.gif
