Yeah, but in America it's whole different situation for Asian men. In Europe, Asian men are just better accepted. The US is generally more hostile towards Asian men, and American women generally look down on Asian men. In France and many parts of Europe, There are more Asian men dating White women than White men dating Asian women. And I believe some the recent Miss France and Miss Italy married Asian men. That kind of things just do not happen in the US.

Heck, the first white woman I dated in the US came from Europe, and after that I didn't get to date another white woman again until I went over to Europe. (Couldn't get a white woman in the US back then, and that's not from the lack of trying. Well, I did go out with three American girls before I went to Europe for the first time, two turned out to be single moms = desperate for any guy to pay their bills for their their bastard brats, and one had been in some online porn -- she had low self-esteem and would go out with ANY guy, and I avoided them after I had found out their backgrounds, and I didn't have sex with them, so they don't really count. As far as I know, Britain is not like the other Western countries. It is about as bad as America in its discrimination against Asian men (or, more appropriatedly in Britain, Oriental men, since "Asian" can mean something quite different.) Only Australia is worst then America and Britain.

Again I dont think so at all, we have a class based system as opposed to the race based system in the US, discrimination can be apparent in certain professions but in general I dont think its as much of an issue. I'd rather live here than the US

anyone watched the Late Late Show last thursday?

Diane Farr, she was on there. She talked quite extensive about her upcoming marriage. She said that koreans were very insular and didn't want their children to marry outside the race. And she talked about how they were going to have a buddhist wedding performed by a jew, and how the wedding will take place 5 hours outside of LA and she is going to bus in korean food. That picture with Seung Chung didn't do her justice. She looks like a crack whore in that. On the show, she looked pretty hot.

I agree. I was in chelsea in NYC a few days ago and all I saw were white people! I saw one asian woman with her white boyfriend but that was it. why is it that in new york city, a city filled with millions of non-white people you have only white people in the hippest part of town? at least in korea you have white people all the time drinking it up in hong-ik area, which is one of the hippest areas in korea.

in america social areas are segregated. you have some asians, mostly women with a few male exceptions, who can mix with the white culture but overall it's quite separate. I'm not criticising white people by the way. I think whites have been quite open toward immigration in the last 20 years. btw, i haven't been to the west coast so I don't know how it is there.
