^ actually, Narda is more focused on its music, not on lyrics. You will likely find the lyrics meaningless... but you'll never find out its beauty without hearing the song...

i have to say the lyrics are meaningful. Narda is the ordinary girl alter ego of the filipina superheroine Darna. she's from a filipino comics in the 80's. (i guess) who has become part of pinoy pop culture. most pinoys, if not all, know her. the song expresses the love and admiration and love of a simple unknown guy longing to be noticed and loved by this supergirl he just can't reach. people who love and admire somebody special who maybe does not even know that they even exist can really identify with this song. thus, i believe , aside from the good melody, the song is well appreciated because its lyrics find echoes in the hearts of many people loving someone from a distance, hoping to be at least noticed.

I normally don't find the band who sings it -- Kamikazee -- to be a great band to listen to, but "Narda"'s pretty solid. I have it on mp3.

the name darna i think is alluding to the Filipino folklore magical singing bird with magical powers Adarna.

a darn annoying pinoy song.. i just don't get it.... just get into the melody, it's very catchy but the lyrics it self was just a crap.... no hate please... i'm just being honest...... anyway hopefully filipino bands would intend to do more quality music, that would really influence the filipinos for good.....

Hate that song. As in hate it. I think my blood pressure goes up everytime I hear it. Especially the acoustic version. I hate it because the vocalist yells the lyrics. Observe how he delivers the underlined words...
