Seo Taiji To Hold Concert In Russia


Korean rock star Seo Taiji will be holding a concert to be called "Seo Taiji in Vladivostok" today May 8 at 8 pm at Vladivostok's Dinamo Stadium in Russia. A Seo Taiji representative stated on the May 6 that "the secret is that on this day at the Dinamo stadium the concert will be broadcasted live to Korea". It will not be a simultaneous live event but a 3D system will be used that will create the feeling that Seo Taiji is actually there on stage in Korea as well.

The 3D system is a special camera and screen employing system developed in Korea that presents a realistic three-dimensional video. In order to watch the 3D images, fans will wear specially developed glasses while viewing the concert. This method has never been used before but has been the interest of frequent concert holders such as Shin Seung Hoon and Boa.

This concert by Seo Taiji will be opened as "Cross the Limit, Deliver the Great Sound" and is being held to commemorate the 120 Year Anniversary of the Korean-Russian diplomatic relationship. Aside from the 800 seats reserved for the Korean fans, the concert hall will hold 100 thousand more seats for the Russian fans. Seo Taiji and the specially picked group of Korean fans traveled with him to Russia on May 6. During the 20 hours aboard the ship to Russia, the fans will receive special lectures from Seo Taiji and be able to participate in various events and competitions with him. Seo Taiji released his latest 7th album back in Janaury with tracks "Live Wire" and "Robot."

I don't know.. To me, all of Taiji's songs are his best songs. I reccommend all of his 4th~7th album songs. 1st~3rd may be a little too old school k-pop for your taste.

I don't live in Vladi anymore. I moved here two years ago, but my bro went to the concert with his friends since he still lives in Vladivostock and go to college there.

I downloaded the Concert in Vladivostok took me 13 hours but it was worth it!!! The concert is an editted MBC version... they only show like 5 songs but its all good.

lol my dad (i'm 23 so u can imagine how old he is) downloaded the concert also.

it was pretty cool.

i think the best video clip you can download of seo taiji is the robot and livewire performance (live, not lipsync) when he performed in one of those top 10 music countdown shows in korea. the audience jumping up and down to his music is crazy (it even shook the cameras).
