I was wondering something earlier today (seeing as I got back to Chongqing two days ago):

How do so many women survive Chongqing's summer without wearing skirts?
I know this is probably a stupid question, seeing as I don't wear skirts either, but I wear shorts, and many girls I know here ONLY wear jeans.
It's like Chongqing women have something against being feminine.......

(Lots of skirts out lately, though... I just find it strange that NONE of my friends wear skirts.)

Girls always complain that wearing their hair down is too hot, so they put it in a ponytail.
Wouldn't shaving your pits help with the heat?

I hate this trend so much.

I actually met alot of girls in Luzhou (Luxian) when I was there who would openly say they WANT to be men.
And they had girlfriends.
Very, very strange.

But, then again, in Lijiang it's alright to have three wives.
I was talking to some guy about it when we went to Tiger Leaping Gorges.
And he says there's some lake where the men outnumber the women so greatly, that the women just have sex with everyone.
None of the children have fathers, they only have uncles.
So, customs change greatly depending what part of China you're in.
