depends. gotta eat instant noodle with chops because forks get hot, must say it doesn't make sense eating chunky food with chopsticks either ie. pork chop or steak. but overall I prefer chopsticks over fork because I can kill the flies if they try to hijack my food.

I use chopsticks for rice, noodles etc
I use knife and fork for big stuff like steak etc
I never ever use my hands cos I don't like getting them dirty. I even eat pizza, chicken wings etc with chopsticks or knife and fork cos grease and oil just feels so dirty.

Hand?
I was eating at my friend's house the other day and she was suprised that I used my fingers to eat rice instead of a chopsticks.

I've used chopsticks, I guess I'm okay at it, but I would rather stick to the fork, spoon, and hand.

Do you use chopstick with threads on it? You know, to help to get the noodles easier.

I remember that my mum once bought chop sticks with threads on it, she said it will be easier to clamp noodles with threaded chop sticks. I only start to use chop sticks when I was 12 anyway.

I don't use chopstick for rice, just noodles. I avoid using it when there's a fork available, it's a waste of my energy trying to pick things up with chopstick.

Chopsticks are my first choice for everything, and I'm not asian. I just find them easier to clean afterwards. I have a tiny collection but don't know for sure where they come from.
If they aren't available, then maybe fingers
And if using a fork is expected, then I need a knife to push things on or everything seems to fall off
