I haven't been to Assam but I have a relative who used to oversee a tea plantation there. I've heard that Assam has quite a large amount of jungles and lush vegetation and that it is best known for its tea. There are also a significant amount of rare animals in the area, including the Plated Rhinocerous.

uttaranchal, himachal, sikkim are most beautifull provinces in India.
Meghalaya, assam and manipur are cool too.
