Buddhism was annihalated before the advent of mughals i believe.

What kind of effect did they have on Buddhism? I had a look on Wikipedia (never to be considered a reliable source mind you) and the article on the Mughal Empire didn't mention Buddhism.
Sorry, I don't know about any books, this is new news to me.

Mughals having an affect on buddhism is a joke . The appropriate one would be how did buddhism influence mughals' islam.
Even then its stupid as buddhism was almost non-existant in india by then. You can't influence something that doesn't exist.
