Survey: Most Filipinos believe in lifetime partnership
First posted 07:50pm (Mla time) Feb 13, 2006
Associated Press
MOST Filipinos remain romantic at heart, believing they are destined to be with one partner for life, a survey released Monday showed.
The survey by independent pollster Social Weather Stations found 85 percent of adult Filipinos believe there is one person whom they are destined to be with, while only 15 percent said they did not believe so.
Out of the 85 percent, 70 percent said they have already found that person, while 14 percent said they have not. Eighty-two percent of those who have not yet found their lifetime partner are "still hoping" to find that special someone, SWS said.
The survey also found that the husband, wife or partner tops the list of persons that respondents said they are destined to be with.

Thank you. Sad to say this, but the Filipino society is damned to learn NEVER to mix church and state the hard way, given that as a society, they adhere to the establishment that we call the Roman Catholic Church.

The Roman Catholic Church has annulment (divorce catholic style) which is practiced by many Filipinos especially the rich and the showbiz people and annulment is very expensive, it costs P200,000 at least. Annulment is also declared to a couple who has not seen and communicated with each other for 7 years.

That's how cheesy Filipinos get.
Very hopeless romantic. Kaya we end up having those cheesy romantic movies.
