alright i can't live without my computer so i'm bringing it. but what about my ps2/games/dance pads

thats something i definitely cannot live without! But i donno if its gonna fit in a dorm, and i donno if its a good idea to be stomping when i'm probably gonna disturb other people below me. this question just popped into my head randomly when i realized i cannot live without bringing everything with me
oh and another question do u ppl wear snow boots?

like real snow boots, not the ones u wear just to look good.

I've never wore boots in the winter before, and it really doesn't seem neccesary to me now anymore, since it hardly snows up to your ankles anymore. As for other necessities, a PS2, a computer, and Ramen noodles are essential to any college students life.

I wear snow boots. What what kind are you talking about? Usually I get the Uggs or Ugg imitations. They're SO WARM. I hate getting snow on my pants and then them getting wet, so in the winter when there's snow out, I usually always wear boots.

Unless you have a huge dorm (like me), the dance mats are a no-no.

that is so true.
but i guess boots are important if you value your pants.
sucks when you get snow in your socks too, b/c then they seep into your shoes and you can feel it at the bottom of your feet every time you step.
i wore tims all winter. worked okay for me and the climate of the great lakes region is basically the same all over. chicago is a bit colder than toronto maybe? they always say how cold and windy it is there. lol.

Depends if you're traveling light or not.
Can you just buy all the stuff that you need once you get here or are you going to being everything you need?

i didn't bring boots, probably cause im hardcore like that.
it would probably be a good idea though.
make sure to bring shower sandals, or whatever they're called. im not sure about the girls bathrooms but guys in my dorm had little to no hygiene.
you might want a mattress pad for your bed. and if you want, bring your own expensive chair if you have one. the ones they give you are pretty stiff.
towels, napkins, paper/plastic disposable silverware, detergent/ fabric softener, bottled water, tv (call your roomate first),.
you can bring consoles, dunno about dance pads, call your roommate first.
oh yeah, bring a basket for all your toiletry/shower/ facial stuff.

ah the good ol' college move. I ended up using 50% of the stuff I brought.

microwave, cup ramen, quarters (coins), small fridge, credit card (only for "emergencies"), cds, bed covers and comforter, computer, water purifier, TPs (just in case your roomate decide he can use all of it, and you need to go potty), fan...i'll think of some more and i'll repost.
also fake id...but that's more for the bad kids like us. seriously i'd never needed a fake id ever to drink in college.

buy tights to wear underneath your pants in the winter. they keep me more warm!
