Punjab People:
Ethnic ancestries of modern Punjabis include the Indo-Scythian and Indo-Parthian settlers of the region, including Indo-Greek peoples since ancient times.
The region, populated by Indo-Aryans, has been invaded and ruled by many different empires and races, including the Persians, Turks, Mughals, Afghans and British. Around the time of the fifteenth Century, Guru Nanak founded the Sikh religion, which quickly came to prominence in the region, and shortly afterwards, Maharaja Ranjit Singh reformed the Punjab into a powerful state.
The Nineteenth Century saw the beginning of British rule. In 1947, at the end of British rule, the Punjab was split between Pakistan and India.

Hello, All this proud-punjabi posted pics' are punjabi singers, I am afraid to state that the culture we see in name of punjabi is the worst form of punjabi culture, Real Punjabi culture is very different from drinking and yelling, Its all about Culture, respect, family values, sacrifices and agriculture

Yeah its correct, south/east/west India have various cultures but punjab only have Agri-culture. Agriculture is still the only source of Income in our community, The change is now we grow herbs/senna/Borivilinem chlorophytem which give us like a million Rupees per acre in a year

Hehe yeah
