I am sure my subject will attract lots of Proton critics here, and thats
my intention :-)

I see a lot of forumers grumbling and some even condemning Proton. Im very jealous with them as they have so much free time.

I got a Proton car and I come here to look for reported problems and
solutions, and also recommendations to make my car better. Very good and
informative.

To those Proton critics, I feel sorry for you as you decided on your own
to buy this car, but very sad (and angry) with it. Remember, it was your
decision to buy. Proton does not force anyone to buy. It was your 'smart'
decision to buy.

However, i found out that Proton Edar is going to launh their replacement model soon. Most probably by next week...How would it be?? Hopefully it will fulfill the user satisfaction and won't stuck into "Low Quality/ Potong Cars" again..

Cheers!

Proton should follow Toyota, keep upgrading their model every 3-4 years, for example Corolla 2006 would have different look than Corolla 2002. Good job Malay! currently they succesfully releasing new model of Satria.

really, i tot it's not out yet???

Is the interior OK?
Does the engine sound OK, is it loud?
Will Proton sell it with airbags?
Sharm
The only Proton I bought was the Tiara because of the French connection. It was really a re-badge Citroen AX. It's more of a driver's car than any other Proton. I love driving so a good handling car attracts my attention. I do like Savvy too, not for the look (!) but for it's handling too. It's Renault Clio underneath.

The problems with Proton cars mostly due to their quality control - lack of it. But with the TuV-approved Savvy things look much better now.

Ah, I can talk (type) all day long about cars.. hehe. I guess I should stop here biggrin.gif

- Edited for typo -
vas
yup.. i have tried the test drive last weekend during the SRM test drive for all nationwide proton salesman... but im not a salesman

So is the overall interior Ok..

Plastics-Is it cheap looking and brittle?
Fittings-are there jarring gaps?

Proton cars have problems in these parts....
vas
All i can said for now is ok...but the noise that exist from the engine a little bit make me uncomfortable..or maybe only exist from the test drive car... i have no comment
