What do you think about the 700 club going around the world helping people especially in the asian countrys. If you listen close to what they say you notice that they help you but they want you to convert. Do you think it's worth the help?

If every one around the world was christans what would happen?

heres an example: Lets say a monk living out in the mountains if there are any more left in the mountains was really sick and one day and he needed sugery and a missionary person found him that way. he agrees to the sugery. then He has the sugery and survives ,and now the missionary wants him to convert and spread the word. That would mean he would have to move off of the mountains go to a place where he can gather with others in a church somewhere, get a job to pay for his tides, ect...

yes I know what you mean I might only be part native but it makes me mad to know the truth about what missonarys do you know about Hawaiians and the Native Americans thier lands were invaded they were put in european type schools(concetration camps) they were beat anytime they spoke their languses their hair was cut ( in some native cultures hair is a symbol of power). All in the name of god. the missionarys especially tried to convert hawaiians. they called their hulas hethinus. any on who knows about hawaiian culture, knows storys are told through their dance. if you want to know more watch the movie "hawaii" it's not in color but it tell the truth (well as close to the truth as they can show)

You can also see the movie "Kumu Hula" it's a good informative movie.

how unfortunate our circumstance, the anmist and unorganized cultures of the world! we are dying very slowly but surely, is this too harsh a premonition?! then we must make strides to preserve today what may be gone tommrow yes?

i am blessing the sky that there is the Austronesian Cultural Festival on Taiwan where it is already recognized that the Malay are brother no matter what island they are on from Madagsacar to Easter island & that Taiwan island is recognized to be the homeland of my Austronesian Culture and Language!!!!!

Yeah, I hate people who is using religion to justify their agenda. It's happening everywhere. The 700 club in my opinion is full of right wing conservative bigot who again use religion to justify their conservative agenda.

People like those who are actually ruining the Christianity religion, just like the super conservative moslem who justify killing the innocent in the name of Allah. (remember 911, Berg, Spanish train bombing, etc?). It has nothing to do with religion. They are just using it.

It happened again today on the 700th club they said they couldn't pay the bill and they needed food and clothes for school

well they would not have bills in the first place if they were not colonised. before, maria or rosa (I forgot her name) probally had responsibilities cooking, washing, going to hunt or trade but she is still trying to live a tradional life but she can't do that and work at the same time so she decided to assimulate into the 700th club and I'm gussing she will forget all abou her old life now.


this is off topic I know and it's in the wrong fourm i'm sorry but I just wanted to bring this up. If someone knows how to move this fourm could you do it for me.
