how do you think other asian view us, do some hate us? do others like us? what do they think about our life style, what do they think we think of them? what they think on how our parents raised us? cambodian in america are hard working, but they're also layback and enjoy life. khmer peopel in cambodia have less chance of doing that, they're hard working in the fields where they get sunbaked, they work in the city as construction worker, or anything sweating from the sun. but there are also khmer people who waste oxygen.

In all actuality, I don't see that much hate. I've had very good experiences with Vietnameses, semi good experiences with Laotians, semi bad experiences with Hmongs, and I don't know about Thais-- I can never find one around.

god my best friends are chinese and viet and their families and my families get along just fine.
we dont have any negative thoughts towards each other,so thats why i really dont get it when people go on about how they hate cambodians.........i hate everbody equallly....lol

A small part of my ancestry is Khmer so I have nothing against the Khmer people. Apart from the Laotians, Khmer is the least arrogant of all other SE-Asian people.

my cousin is half cambodian. I always thought viets and khmer people look alike. Language sounds similar too.

A good number of those people who rioted were arrested and went to jail (of course, not everyone could be arrested). It's not like all Khmers condoned it you idiot. And to be fair, Hun Sen is an idiot too.




There are a lot of Khmer-Vietnamese mixes, but majority of Khmer don't look like Viets.

Once in a while they blow off steam but thats not really uncommon, its not like the Khmers go around and mock other countries all the time.

in america, i think other asians view us as we view all of them, . Deep down we have a strong sense of pride in our khmer heritage, as do viets, laotians, thais, etc. but in society we all get along as a part of the se asian culture. when i'm with my se asian friends, we all view each other as se asian brothers, not as viets, laos, or khmers.

in america, the asian view on us khmer is that were ghetto for sure..lolz..and the other thing is they always think were bad @$$ out of all the asian race and make them look bad..well fuk em who judge us..hahaha.
