I"m 5'4, 140 lbs.....and i'm trying to lose 10 lbs in about 2 1/2 months...
any eating suggestons, exersizes or tips to help me?

Well you did mention you are somewhat atheletic in another thread. Best way to lose weight is to protend you're in a routine or controlled environment like a professional athelete, a soldier, or in prison. Because you get eat, sleep, workout, get up in a certain varying routine. Like during the summer clean your entire house and everything in it that needs to be cleaned. Don't know how? Well ask or read up on how things are done. This is a good time to start training and eating in alloted times during the course of a day, week, 3months.

Drink alot of water and do the prisoner's workout. I don't know why people ask for eating suggestions. Just eat healthy foods. Jeez! They're not that hard to find.

Also, look up the warrior diet. It works for me. It might work for you too.

drink water
get rid of all processed food in ur kitchen
always eat breakfast
big lunch
small dinner
try to stop snacking
get more regular sleep
do NOT deprive urself
alot of fiber
make sure u poop 3 times a day
i prefer low intensity cardio with pilates
for high intensity I do PIU on crazy mode embarassedlaugh.gif

eat a little ONLY when you are starving. must be less than 500 calories/day.

wtf, how long do u think a person can last on 500 calories a day? how long do u think its gonna take for the person to start eating like crazy again? the key is NOT to starve urself, stop giving ppl crap advice icon_rolleyes.gif

Excersize and diet!

Do at least 30 minutes of good cardio a day. I'd play some sports or do something active like martial arts...And don't eat alot of food...try to consume less calories than you will burn. Seems to work for me, 6 months ago I weighed 240lbs. Now I am at 200lbs.....I need to lose about 20lbs more. biggthumpup.gif

i think many of us here are fat b/c we're always on AF. embarassedlaugh.gif get ur butt moving ppl!

don't say "diet'. u want a lifestyle change. U shouldn't be expecting quick fixes if u want to permanently lose that gut. Start eating a "healthy" diet, and exercise as a way to de-stress and shed xtra pounds rather than talk on AF.

get alot of workouts!..and yes you will need alot of calories...but keep the fats low! the sodium the sugar...etc...just eat little bit more healthy than you would normally do......and starvation leads to stress!(happened to my wrestlin frand Talktohand.gif )....cause if u goto starvation and lose all that fat eventually you'll start losing muslces because all the fat is gone and all that is left is muslce.....so never! go on starvation or a very stricted diet!....id say go for 1500 to 2000 calories a day...with the lowest amount of fats as possible...

I think FantasyClover means the buildup of carbs in sugar (calories) makes you fat, I could be wrong about the interpratation.

yaw, cuz ur body needs fat for nourishment. i mean u don't want sallow looking skin and dull hair and nails. natural unsaturated fat is good for ur body, u can find in nuts and seeds, and avocados. good stuff.

sugar is nothing but useless carbs. if u dun burn it off, u get fat storaged.

most fats that we take in aren't unsaturated anyway, and yes, our bodies do need fat. we get enough of them even when we avoid them.

i dont think sugar is a carb. carbohydrates though, break down into sugars
