An hour drive (including traffic), shouldn't even consider close. Heck 40 minutes is already too long of a drive. I really dislike how people claim they live in Chicago when they live in the burbs. If you don't know how to use CTA you shouldn't claim you're from Chicago.

where I'm living now, a 40 minute drive ain't nothing.
it's just a trip to wal-mart.
20 minute trip to school.
1 hour trip to the closest mall.

And I don't claim to be from chicago. I don't know nothing about chicago besides it's a beautiful city [excluding some places like CICERO lol] I tell everyone I'm from Rockford and dumb b!tches don't even know what it is, so I say it's up north, near chicago. and when they ask me if it's a suburb, I tell them fu-k no. Rockford is it's own city. Aurora is practically a suburb and shouldn't be considered the 2nd biggest city in Illinois

I'm proud to be a Rockfordian, even though it's such a $hitty town. And I think it has the highest crime rate in Illinois

I'm not really a suburban person, maybe cause I don't know much people out there. I'm surprise Rockford has a higher crime rate than Chicago considering Chicago is like the only major city in Illinois. Well, everything is much closer compare to the suburbs, I mean getting to school by car is like a five minute drive at best if I get all green. Plus, everything is within walking distance, at least to me. I know a lot of people from school that are from the suburbs that aren't use to the idea of walking to get to somewhere is always driving.
