Kid saved from being sacrificed in Gujarat

Ahmedabad - A seven-year-old boy was rescued here Thursday from the clutches of an occultist who, along with the boy’s father, was about to kill him as a sacrifice, police said.

Police in Amraiwadi neighbourhood saved the boy, Mohammed Yousuf, who was severely beaten and branded all over his body, by one Mohammed Rafique.

Rafique had convinced the boy’s father to sacrifice him to remove ‘evil influences’ from their house, police said.

‘The occultist and the boy’s father Ayyub Ali had known each other for a year or so and the occultist convinced Ali to sacrifice his son to bring riches to his house and also to get rid of the evil influences,’ said a police official.

As the victim’s father agreed, both took his away Monday and hid him at his grandmother’s place. The child’s mother, however, suspected some foul play and lodged a complaint with police.

Acting on a tip-off by neighbours, police Thursday morning rescued the child and admitted him to a hospital, and arrested Rafique and Ali.

I thought it might be good to warn the public so it doesnt happen to you or your love ones. Just keep an eye on kids because theres alot of psychos out there (especially if your living in India right now).

It seems bad news tend to be more noticed than good news. But I thought I might post up some good news for a change.









Yeah your right. I'm sort of wondering that myself. Maybe the Thuggees cult is being revive.

Mola Ram was trying to revive the Thuggee cult in that Indiana Jones movie. It seems some real people in India are also trying to revive the cult. Back in the early 19th century, the Thugs sacrificed 2 million, so the situation was far worse back then.

Not just India, but many nations have a high crime rate (and psychos so to put it). One thing is not to let fear take over as people tend to be unreasonable and paranoia sets in in such states.

Its one of the theories as to why USA has such a high crime rate.

USA has a high crime rate because our liberals wont allow the criminals to be punished as they should be.

I don't know, as to say that when other countries have much less crime yet similar punishments, would be an argument against that.
