a good subject is a good subject. and plus that's why we save all these threads even $hitty ones. because there are someone always interested in talking about those topics. and since we are "technically" suppose to have one topic of a kind, it makes sense.

if not then what's the use of having to keep old post? if that's the case we could save bandwidth for deleting every single one of thsoe.

Some posts may be old for you, but for some of the newer members, they may be topics they would like to discuss. If you rather not join in, then you don't have to.

I think he is confused.

New members should also have a chance to post in older threads. There is no need to clutter up the forum with threads of the same kind.

Well, for instance, I myself is a newbie and I would say that from my perspective I believe that it is either that we are new to this site and we think that people have forgotten about the subject or just want to know more about it or that there are always newbies around so they might be wondering when will the subject be discussed. You get me?
