^ Yup. Evers since visiting the Philippine province of bohol, my mother cant stop thinking about the 'beaches' in your country as its rather beautiful. Specially Panglaow beach in bohol and the one beach in Cebu *I forget the name*.

Filipinos in bohol were very kind and pleasant people. The Only time we had trouble was when we arrived in Tagbilaran's port by fast boat from Cebu and when we docked, there were alot of food sellers trying to sell food to us. Unfortunately for us we couldnt understand them because they were speaking in their dialect and we couldnt understand lol. I guess they thought we were Filipinos. LOL. It was an 'interesting' experience. They tried selling coconuts with some kind of peanut butter cream inside the coconut. Tasted pretty good.

Well it is a dialect; considering Cebuano is a dialect of bisaya, which is overall an Filipino dialect.
You dont need to patronize me about it dude, I have ALOT of filipino friends and I do have relatives of Filipino decent---im pretty much exposed to the culture.

Cebuano IS bisaya. It is a Language and not a dialect of Filipino. I don't have a lot of filipino friends but all my family are bisaya.

LOL Bisaya is Cebuano and is definately not a dialect.
asyano
Bisaya/Binisaya is not exclusive to Cebuano, as Waray-Waray and Hiligaynon are also referred to as Bisaya or Binisaya.

They are like hairless black coconut-like things with a red strip around it. When you take the red strip off - there are two hemispheres that can serve as bowls. Inside is some kind of chocolate peanutbutter paste thing. Then you get a spoon and scoop some like it was pudding. It's good. biggthumpup.gif

it's called calamay/kalamay. it's brown sugar cooked into syrup and placed in emptied coconut shells(traditionally) and now, for easy transport for tourists, you can buy the kalamay placed in plastic.

comment on pictures on the 1st page:
