They are like hairless black coconut-like things with a red strip around it. When you take the red strip off - there are two hemispheres that can serve as bowls. Inside is some kind of chocolate peanutbutter paste thing. Then you get a spoon and scoop some like it was pudding. It's good.

it's called calamay/kalamay. it's brown sugar cooked into syrup and placed in emptied coconut shells(traditionally) and now, for easy transport for tourists, you can buy the kalamay placed in plastic.
