I just went to a temple festival yesterday where kids put up all these presentations about Hindu culture, famous Indian heroes, etc.
So I read one about vegetarians and why you should become one, it was extremely well done and has convinced me to at least cut down on my meat intake, I'm pretty sure I'll become full vegetarian one day.
I can't beleive it takes 16 fu-king pounds of vegetables to feed a cow just to create one pound of beef, look at all that waste and how all of it could go to the poor and starving across the world, they have to starve just for rich and greedy to dine on beef and such.

There's something sexy about vegetarian males, even though I'm ravenous.
That means that I don't have to be as authentic of a cook, right? Preparing vegetarian dishes is easy, huh?
Maybe it's just where I live, but all of the vegetarian males I know can cook!

who let the peta in here trying?
i will always eat meat because that's my choice. meat brings alot of good vitamins and minerals. also meat eating is the reason why our ancestors evolve, that's why today we can even associate these kinds of action to "pity".

These are most foolish argues i ever seen in life. Meat never contain any vitamin and minerals, and a 50g tomato has more proteins then 250g of meat. Vegetables are meant to eat by humans, and meat is meant to eat by animals as a part of nature cycle.
[meateating is the reason why our ancestors evolve]

I agree here, there were no sort of agriculture that times so they were hunters, but now theres no reason you keep killing animals.

Meat contains iron, zinc, and protein.

Now what?! lol Humans are also animals. We're just a little more civilized and tamed...lol
EDIT: Meat also contain B vitamins.

I never used to cook, but now at college I have to do it often......
That's why I like frozen foods. Amy's Kitchen (A National Brand) has a great selection of 100% vegetarian food....including some Indian dishes.

[Meat contains iron, zinc, and protein. Now what?]
^Well to be true, Mud also contain some fair amount of Zinc and certain other minerals, then why not eat mud? I know meant conatn all that zinc, Bit-B and many other nutritions, But i am afraid you can get all of that nutrients in plenty in vegetables. Meat is not the only source if you are serious, but its a weird source. Save animals they are like infants.
[Amy's Kitchen]
^ Well not I am ready to give world my own brand, Hope you all will buy atleast. Are you people such effecient that dont know how to cook something, I know almost all, I cant prepare Roti, but everything else. :P

You get a better source of vitamins and minerals when you eta a combination of both meat and vegetables. While, I do value life, I also starve. I hunger for meat. A carrot cannot satisfy you like a piece of steak would.

[You get a better source of vitamins and minerals when you eta a combination of both meat and vegetables]
More then misconception.
1, Meat is hard to digest;
2, Highly non hygenical;
3, All diseases which animals used to have transmitted to your body;
4, Its the biggest form of cruelty, for your little taste you do this much cruelty on living beings? Shame.
5, The nutritional values in meat is much much less then vegetables, a 50g of ripe tomato can give more proteins then 250gm meat, lentisl give you all proteins, all fruits give you all vitamins and minerals like zinc, iron, calcium etc.
6, As you sow so shall you reap, if you being cruel to nature you will have to face it for sure. Please remember this.
