Question for everyone here who lives in or near London:
I'm going to be living in London (stuck there for work -- would rather be in Tokyo or New York) starting next fall and would like to know where all the East Asian people live / hang out. I'm Chinese-American and want to meet Chinese / Japanese / Korean / Vietnamese / Singaporean / Malaysian / etc. girls there. From what I've seen, "asian" usually means South Asian rather than East Asian when in London. So I've heard East London is a spot for Asians but I'm guessing that means Indian / Pakistani. It seems kind of hard to find East Asian people unless you go to Chinatown. At least that's what I found when I was there this past summer.
Also, any club recommendations? besides Thai Square.
thanks for your help

Thai Sq. was just for Thais before the minors and other Asians invaded... >.<
Haven't been there in a while.
Most Thais hit the other Square branches now and leave Thai Square - Trafalgar Square to others!

What's the topic, Thai Square? Thai Square is a load of $hit!!! I went there once a few months ago and I'll never go again. I've never known such prudish boys - they all just stand there like a pack of flies, or they're sitting down playing rock, paper, scissors the whole night, who does that in a club? Plus, it's really small, and all the oriental people stay in packs and don't mix with each other, or even talk to one another. Total waste of a night.

Well what did you do when she smiled at you? You should've smiled at her and see how she reacts. If she smiles back then that means she 'could' be interested in you, in that case go up to her and talk to her.

There are problems, mainly because most of the working class are dimwits who shouldn't be allowed to speak let alone vote but anyway when it comes to professions there are some blatant issues.

There are but it really depends on your location as to how far they go.
Stereotypes of asians and blacks are.......eh.........not too prevalent or at least most people are aware that the stereotypes are untrue or at least that is my experience anyway. I do know a black guy that thought I was going to be racist to him because I'm half korean......which was very wtf. For more recent immigrants e.g. Kosovans there seems to be at the very least a certain amount of general underlying racism/negative preconceptions.
Job discrimination, like I said in certain professions there are things that make you wonder for example the fact that the majority of the judiciary are old white men

You're the one who brought up the Daily Mail and newspapers for your information, you started off on your own tangent there. It's not an excuse to look down on them, if they're a dimwit I'm likely to look down on them anyway. If they're a dimwit reading The Daily Mail then I may excuse their stupidity on certain issues a little bit if I'm feeling generous. If they're middle class and they're reading The Daily Mail.................. *takes out crowbar*
