So my dad went for lunch with a few of his old work mates on Wednesday.
And apparently 5 people have refused to come into work because they are not permitted to travel into London during Rammadan and they are still demanding pay.
....now imo.......that's just fu-ked up. The civil service are trying to find a careful way to fire them......but god damn..... They should just fire them on the spot, but no....they have to "tread carefully" ....

That's bollocks. They're treading carefully because they don't want to get done for picking on Muslims. The other Muslims in the civil service are apparently doing their nut at these 5 people and are moaning because the civil service won't lift a finger to put a stop to it.
Those 5 are taking their days off now and getting away with it! And are still getting paid!

My dad owns a charity, every year they hold a thank you party to the people who sponsor them and the famous people who are their patrons. Usualy it is a fashion show and then party in a club. This year there were lots of famous people there (not really amazingly famous though). I did see the three women from the Shiela's wheels advert this time though.
