India planning a Mongolian military base to counter Chinese Military threats

A boom in cooperation between India and Mongolia in defense is in the making as Indian top Ministers visit Mongolian defense infrastructure.
The Indian delegates headed by the minister [of state] of defence of India, M.M. Pallam Raju, are paying an official visit to Mongolia on 3-6 May. They are guests of the minister of defence of Mongolia, Mr M. Sonompil. On Thursday [4 May], Mr Sonompil received the Indian delegates to talk on expansion of a cooperation in the defence sectors between the two countries, and to sign a cooperation agreement. The visiting delegates were also received by the minister of foreign affairs, Mr N. Enhbold, and then visited the Mongol Soldiers Museum.
