Ottawa is like an infestation. A disease. A cancer. It needs to be removed.

It represents everything that is backasswards about Canada. As long as this country's capital is located in ottawa at the hands of the conservative, ignorant ottawa ppl, Canada is doomed. We should transfer Canada's capital to Toronto.

Canada is supposed to be a multicultural society that respects diversity and dynamicism. Instead, you have the most ignorant and super-conservative people running the country in Ottawa.

Ottawa is predominantly white middle class and pride themselves on their homogenuity. Many ppl here look down on places like Toronto or Vancouver that has lots of diversity and multiculturalism. Purity seems to be the main source of pride in Ottawa. It kinda reminds me of Hitler's Nazi Regime only on a much smaller scale.

It's like, "OOOoooh, look at us, we're the last major city in Canada that is still predominantly middle class white with traditional canadian values."

Toronto is kind of like Hong Kong now. It's so dynamic and the asian population is very successful. there are many asians who are in powerful positions and they do nearly all kinds of work.

In ottawa, the asians are restricted to technical jobs with a glass ceiling.

the contrast is huge.

Not to mention that if you're a single guy and you want a girlfriend in ottawa, you have better chance of finding a needle in a stack of needles.

Whereas Toronto white people are cultured and are exposed to different races and cultures, Ottawa white people pretend like you don't exist. Sometimes as I deal with ottawa's pure white population, I really ponder whether or not I'm a real human being or not.

There is also a plan to keep Ottawa predominantly white middle class. Ottawa is receiving a huge influx of rednecks from small towns throughout Canada. They want to keep the population as white as possible, even if it means getting a bunch of low life country folk driving around in their Ford or Dodge pickup trucks, wearing wifebeaters and a baseball cap, and growing beards and blasting out guns'n roses.

I seriously wish Kim Jong Il will shoot a nuke at the US and miss completely and somehow hit Ottawa instead.

it's just that asians don't want to move to ottawa. it's easier to move to toronto because it's a more familiar environent. if asians wanted to be in ottawa it's not like they wouldn't go. blame your parents for raising you there. ottawa is difficult because for most jobs being bilingual helps. why would immigrants move to ottawa if after 15 years most of them can't even speak english properly?
