If you are a proud hindu then what is the deal with an angel on your aviator? Aint that stuff for christans and catholics. And yes it is a sin. So I guess people are scared to come forward about their run-ins with cows i guess.

In the past four or five years I've started eating soy beef
These days I'm a strict vegetarian.

Yes I have eaten beef and sometimes still do, though it is the meat I eat the least, I mostly eat chicken. I'd say that beef isnt horrible tasting, but I like the other meats more.

Fools. Anybody who believes in Hinduism can NOT eat beef. It's very simple, and the religion states that.

All those who do are technically infidels.

Ye i have easten beef.. it tastes almost like mutton! Double cheese burger from mcdonald... AND ITS NOT A SIN TO EAT BEEF!!

we hindus dont eat beef, cos, we treat a cow like our own family member( mainly peasants) and, we keep a cow for milk not for its meat!

nowdays, many Hindus are eating beef... its not a big deal!

Chinese farmers also treat cow like family but we do eat them lol. My maternal family came from the countryside.

I heard that Malu Hindus are allowed to eat beef, since the influence of cow worship isn't present in their culture?

It's common for a lot of Hindus abroad to eat beef. I don't know how they picked up the habit though, since a lot of Muslim-Americans still maintain strict religious practices.

My mom stopped eating beef, and my brother became a vegetarian 10 years ago or so.

I'm trying to stop eating beef...but most of my favorite foods have beef in them (chili, hamburgers, pepperoni pizza)...icon_sad.gif

If I'm not mistaken, I've heard people on Hindu-religion.net claim that Hindu sages in the past consumed beef.
