Theres too many Saints or Gurus in Hinduism? I was reading about the 4 main schools then all the different sects and its like wow..its basically battle of the philosophers.

No, because the sect division in Hinduism isn't big like it is in Islam, or Christianity.

Yes there are many different branches, and types of religious figures, but they don't really make a large difference. In India, people usually just go to the 'sect' that is closest to their home. I've moved a few times within India, and we just go to the one which is closest. They all teach the same thing. There's never been violence between Hindu sects.
